I love how she can sing with such a sultry voice, and we KNOW she's a Westerner but yet sing with a tint of Asian accent somehow (Game with Western setting initially created by Easterners.). This game means so much more than it (already has) had meant. East+West can be so beautiful.

Not really, it actually takes place after. More around the time of Silent Hill 3. Just in an alternate universe. Cuz this game is a what if scenario. It takes place after the very bad ending of Silent Hill 1 where Harry is dying in a car crash and he hallucinated the whole thing.

I can see that some "original"/"Japanese" elements are still inside the songs, because if you notice it, a lot of people dispute over which game is the best and Team Silent blah blah, but no one really complains about any of the music. The singer, I don't know intentionally or not, actually sang with an accent of someone who English is not their mother tongue. These songs are the ones that connect all the games; and fans together.

It'll be nice to know if the accent was real or made up though.

I loved Shattard Memories i thought it was absoultly brilliant. But i did think it would be better if like they had done it when Laura from SH2 was older, and she like went back into the town looking for Mary beleiveing she was her mother i made up my whole own little plot for it aswell :D

Gotta agree with u. Although i think Silent Hill 2 has THE best, SM and SH3 are about equal in my eyes, then comes SH1, then Homecoming. Don't know about 4 and origins, but i think Dounpour's soundtrack is gonna be terrible compared to these cuz they're having Korn do the main theme. KORN! WTF? The only things that connects this to silent hill is a few names and Akira. The team behind the new silent hill games dont really understand what the series is about an so they tried to change what the series is. Any true SH fan wont play the games past SH4.

I will always love the original SH games and they will be works of art for me, but i think the new SH games could have potential if they would get some actual FANS of the games to work on the series. My problem is that they just tell people to make the game for money, not for the experience. I wanna change that when i'm older....
