It started off the same way her relationship started and just got worse by the day and i was abused but he he stopped because i guess he realized that it was wrong, i just couldnt put up with the drinking and it made me a abusive person ,someone that im not i ask myself why put up with it but i think i love him and dont want to give up but i just wish he would change his ways he has done so much to hurt me and I just dont want to fight anymore
I LOVE THIS SONG ! she is so talented and has a big personality , this song has made me think so much , I can relate to the lyrics because i am with someone and have been with him for about 4 years now and I just dont see it going anywhere and I dont want to just walk away from it but its getting to the point where i just cant take it anymore ,all of his verbal abuse and all the fighting i think he looks right through me and its like when i try he chooses not to get along with me .
I was in a 17 year relationship with 14 of those years being married to that person. There was nothing but abuse and heartache in that relationship. All I can say is that now that I've been away from him for three and a half years, I now realize that I was abused, but I was too brainwashed to notice it while in that marriage. I feel so free and I'm so much happier now than I've ever been! Noooooo!!! I don't wanna hurt no more!!!! Time for letting go!!!

you people dont get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The person will not leave until the are ready to leave, you telling them they have some where to go is not going to help. Can you sit there and honestly say I will support you and put up with the danger of he / she may find where they went or moved too. The will not leave until they know in their heart they have had enough and get the strenght and courage to leave.
I never was phyically abused but verbal abuse, im only 21 and i realize i got alot of living to do, so when i walked away, i walked away from 4 years and my high school sweet heart
@Derevko32 It's funny I'm going through the same thing too, I cut off contact with the family mainly because of some real deep issues growing up. Left home to go to college and didn't realize how much I grew up while I was away till I returned and saw nothing had changed back home AT ALL. Abuse can be subtle too, does not have to be a close relation...sarcasm, one up-manship, deriding comments...are all abuse...don't allow it from anyone..boss, friend, acquaintance..anyone...walk away.
