This is so beautiful. How many know that another sweet thing Michael did was call Will I.Am every Father's Day because Michael knew W.I.A. did not have a relationship with his own father. Also, two male pop/rap stars were feuding, and Michael got together with them to mediate and bring them together as friends. They wrote a song together for Michael after he died.
Aw, this was recorded shortly after Michael passed. Poor Ryan had so much to deal with at such a young age. I cannot imagine. When MJ could be there and spend time with him, they went shopping in the local mall just the two of them. MJ did manage to have cameras present durring the time they had together. It's great to hear from someone that saw , firsthand, how kind, generous and loving Michael was. When MJ was overseas touring, he would always go to orphanages and bring toys and all sorts of gifts for the children. He would have to wear disguises so that the press wouldn't follow him. His money he earned for doing concerts was given to charities as far back as his "Victory Tour", when he was still performing with his brothers, in the early 80's. He got 20 mill from HBO and donated all that.

Ryan writes about his account with staying at MJ's on his own in his book. Michael wasn't always there, but Ryan had fun anyway. When MJ could be there and spend time with him, they went shopping in the local mall just the two of them. MJ did manage to have cameras present durring the time they had together. I think it's time those videos came out.

do123able is correct. They didnt know alot about AIDS back then. He was actually kicked out of his school because he had it. Everyone was scared and they weren't quite sure how you got it or how it spread. He had very few friends, but Michael was one of them. He was always there for him, to help him, be his friend. Which is all that Ryan really wanted...a friend. RIP Michael and Ryan

I'm about the same age as Ryan White, and I remember his horrible health plight and his wonderful friendship with Michael so clearly. When Michael died, one of the first things I wondered was whether Ryan's mother would comment publicly. I'm so glad she did. :)

I haven't cried over MJ in a while and Ryan White's mom just made me bawl like a newborn child..She hasn't spoken to the media in many years & she just made me remember the days when MJ & Ryan used to hang out together..so the moral of the whole MJ story is humans really suck and MJ was an angel. I pray there is a heaven for good people like MJ to go to because otherwise, this whole "life" thing is pretty bleak and worthless. This video made me cry. I remember this very well. Back then HIV and AIDS was such a stigma. Ryan White was an outcast. WHO stepped up to the plate MJ of course. He didnt care what people thought of him standing up for Ryan. What courage it took to take a stand back when AIDS was so misunderstood. Michael you were so beautiful on the inside with a heart of gold. You gave Ryan the courage and he became an ambassador for the people suffering with AIDS. I am so humbled. You were amazing.

It's a shame that NOT ONE network would show these positives stories when Michael was alive.I refuse to believe that after his 2005 acquittal (all fourteen counts) , Aphrodite Jones(author of Michael Jackson Conspiracy) was the only reporter to realize she was wrong. It's great to hear from someone that saw , firsthand, how kind, generous and loving Michael was. When MJ was overseas touring, he would always go to orphanages and bring toys and all sorts of gifts for the children. He would have to wear disguises so that the press wouldn't follow him. His money he earned for doing concerts was given to charities as far back as his "Victory Tour", when he was still performing with his brothers, in the early 80's. He got 20 mill from HBO and donated all that.

part of that involves who the media chooses to speak to - it has to fit whatever projection about MJ sold papers/ratings. e.g. aphrodites jones could not get any mainstream media time to plug her book "MJ Conspiracy", which uncovers the scam artists, vendettas involved in charging him with extremely weak/absurd "evidence". ryan white's mom is not a celebrity, she has no "crazy" stories about him to sell, so media's naturally not interested in her - until now:(
