search 'The Howling by The Phantom Band' to find the official video for The Howling. It was directed by Bronagh Keegan and Martin Wedderburn who, amongst other things, did some genius Irn Bru adverts - fans of the Ginger Nectar will know the ones I'm talking about.
fantastic album and great live, going to see them this month in blackburn lancs. cant wait. Why isnt the album in the charts or maybe thats a good thing.
The Howling is about to be released (video and everything.) Despite Checkmate Savage being out since January and Folksong Oblivion getting quite a lot of air play this will be the 1st single they have released from it so it will probably boost sales.
They have a 2000 word interview in The Guardian coming up very soon too, so lots of exposure is on its way.
Yay! I heard them play this in The Hague last year and was wanting to hear it again so thanks for putting it up! Looking forward to seeing them in Brighton next month!
Excellent song - and really funny too. I heard it on Janice Forsythe Radio Scotland this morning and wanted to hear it again. thanks for putting up. ; )
Not a problem. I was amazed there wasn't any other videos uploaded so I thought I'd do it. I'm sure they will do something far more artistic when there is an official release.
sounds like Beck's track: Broken Drum. A bit.

The album Checkmate Savage is really good. I'm still amazed it didn't even merit a mention when it came to the Mercury Nominations. Disgrace.
There's quite a few track available on youtube but the ones that normally get played are:
1: The Howling
2: Throwing Bones
3: Folksong Oblivion
4: Island (Totally different from the rest of the album but awesome)
Hope that helps.

This and Throwing Bones and Island and Crocodile and Burial Sounds, stunning songs. A Brilliant Album. Putting my money on a Mercury Prize!

Indeed. They have a rich history of great music. Who was your favourite Chemikal Underground artist. I would have to say The Delgados themselves.
