ive got my cdl in september i am 22 no tickets or accidents on my record no dui and i have good work exp but i cant find a trucking job because i have no exp how am i going to get the exp if no one hires me it pisses me off that i spent 4 grand and 2 months of my time and i get nothing i really do belive geting ur cdl is a setup for failure i have put in over 40 applications and only got one interview with baker huges and its only driving 10% of the time up in the natural gas fields
In all honesty how much of a pain is it to drive through these tight areas? I've been thinking about getting in to trucking; I drive as a hobby, and I think I'd love the travelling aspect to it. But I see 'em in some areas and think fuck that!
I don't think it's the maneuvering so much as cars screwing you guys over.

Why doesn't everything cost more than a million dollars? I have a '98 VW Polo. The fuel light came on today so I put $10 worth of gas in it, just to shut the annoying light up. To my amazement it didn't shut it up.
Not long ago I could fuck around all day in a turbo boosted Skyline for ten bucks. Now for that same amount of money I cant even get the gas warning light on a fucking gas miser to fuck off.
I bring this up here because the gas mileage on a truck is piss fucking poor.
Funny, the couple of cars that cut you off & failed to signal in the beginning were in such a hurry! I guess they can't wait to just sit at red lights...interesting video and view, I love the sound of the engine! :)
I want to drive truck down in the states, first in canada though, might do some teamster stuff next summer, keep it between the ditches good buddy!
