The "180mm" fans that come with it are complete crap. Take advantage of the cases cheap price and buy some Silverstone FN181s 180mms for it.
Note: FN181s are true 180mm fans and so the case door has to be modded to hold them with proper airflow. All you do is cut the rectangular area around the fans out with steel cutters or a dremel or angle grinder, and then remove the normal mounting pegs and mount it from the outside in with some thin hardware bolts and nuts. Easy mod to a great case!
Hey well done. I was about to say something about the side panel fans but you got it. As witht he back, i never do anything to the back of my cases. Looks nice, alot of vids I see of people showing off ther computer have not painted the inside and it just makes the computer look like junk. Painting the inside of a case is a simple mod and well worth the time. I subscribed.
you can cut some holes on the mother board tray for better cable management, it will give you a cleaner look inside the case, check out my video on my case
Yea, window it! It would be better with a window since he took the time to paint the inside and all. Plus, if he wanted he could cut a fan or 2 into the side of the acrylic.
I would but the clips holding the fan bracket are so close to the notch in the panel that aligns the case that there would be no uchannel and no room for the plexi.
nice paint job. I'm glad you decided to take the fans out of the front side panel and paint it. In my opinion if your going to do it , do it all the way. I'll be painting my Armor case tomorrow, will post.
btw did you use self etching primer, I would hate for your nice paint job to start chipping
i'm actually unsure what the primer i used does because the cheap 1$ stuff I used has the same label on all its different colors, just a different label for what color the particular can is.. but should anything go wrong I shouldn't have a problem repainting it
I'm sure it will be fine. If you ever paint the exterior of a case try to find self etching primer and automotive enamel paint, you can find it at most automotive stores. it does cost a little more than 1 or 2 bucks, something like 5-7 $ per can. however it can take a little more abuse.
what kind of paint and what brand do you use. I really want to paint my case now it dosent seem to hard but the problem is the rivers =/ i heard it looks like shit when you dont take out the rivets
I might be getting the Godspeed two advanced case what home mods can I do to it and don't recurire painting it

Looks great nice vid you should put a window in it then install the fans in the window would be cool.
5/5
RickArter 2 years ago
One thing that i think would be pretty cool is to install a window in the extra space above the 2 side panel fans.
BowlinLefty 2 years ago
Yeah I was thinking that, but it would be a small one.. perhaps only a few inches, although it may still be pretty cool.
