@XmonsterX129 because if you just have a stock touchscreen replacement for the buttons then no, there's no real point to having Android on a microwave. But if it becomes a semantic, contextual device, then it might actually become useful. Scan a barcode using a camera before you put it in, it will cook it for the recommended time without you having to read it.

It will also use its camera to know where you are in the world, and how to react based on that.

It actually could be very useful.

Heh, my mom has a Droid. she's adopted linux before i have. Belive me, i've tried, but i just couldn't "get into" OpenSuSE, Ubuntu or MINT. Perhaps Android will click with me?
