ok well 3 things i have to say.

1. you need to shift faster and at about 5500 max. after that ( depends on mods give or take a couple hundred rpm ) it loses all power.

2. your car sounds horrible.

3. my BONE STOCK ZX2 can get to 90 in the time it took you to get to 50.

i love how everyone is saying this car is slow, my buddy has the 03' escort ZX2 with the 2.0 zetech, he has exhaust, and deleted the baffle box in the air inlet piping, and he walks off bad on civic hatch coups or sedans, rsx's, ford fusions, cobalts, and can hang with the cobalt ss and srt-4, these things got potential, once you removed the intake baffle thats 26hp and 13ft lbs and then the exhaust was another 18hp and 9ft lbs, its a quick little car, one of the fastest econo-cars actually.

I had a 2000. I bought a k and n short ram and it gave me about 6 to the wheels, then it got smashed bc im a dumbass. but never mind that. so, then i bought one of ebay and it gave me the same results. the k and n one was easier to install, but i ended up buying some extra piping and built my own cold air intake by cutting a whole in my inner fender and running it down, if you do that buy the cheaper one. good luck
