Its been over a year so I hope someone sees this...what is that gun used in this video I can't make it out sounds like a "point shooter"? I just need to frame 2 canvas boards onto an open back frame and trying to find easiest way - a staple gun was also suggested but would I actually staple the board to the frame or use some other type of screw/hardware?
The gun is a "point shooter" and can be found at a frame supply shop. That would be the easiest way. A staple gun would be held at about a 45degree angle. The staples would go into the frame while the canvas is in there and they will stick out a bit and you will press them toward the canvas to secure the canvas.
