  • one of my fave episodes its a classic!

  • Anyone else notice that the guy with the slide whistle was "sliding" in the opposite direction? That whistle should have gone from high to low, not low to high.

    I used to have one.

  • Somebody should do a video of this song with Jonathan Crane from Batman.

  • holy volume.

  • the excitement of Niles when he does the Monologue is precious..and at the end he says "the trombone frightened me.." classic.

  • now here is the man, to explain, the tortured terrain of your brain, the man who feels everyone's pain...doctor crane...doctor crane...FRASIER CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE!

  • The trombone frightened me. XD

  • i love this scene. it was awesome

  • I like this theme better than the other one.

  • I love Frasier too, its one of my FAVORITE shows ever, but I swear it seems like all of its fans are snobs! There is no reason to look down your noses at all of the rest of tv entertainment just because it isn't as "intelligent"!

  • @kevindolls I think the name of the episode "they're playing our song".

This is one of the most memorable scenes from the show for me.

  • I love that satisfied look he has at the end of the song.

  • What's the title of the episode?

  • Thank god I gave this show a chance when I thought I hated it,how stupid I was...

    Much love from Scotland

  • classic Frasier . . . too bad 99.9999% of TV is now flooded with the scourge that is reality TV; even the History and Discovery Channels have that reality crap now, shame on them; to quote Frasier himself, "I am WOUUUUNDED!"

  • Niles went off, for a genius he can spit a mean verse.

  • 5 people has erectile dysfunction

  • I got the entire series on DVD, was the best entertainment buy around! People I know all say the show makes you work too hard to understand and appreciate it...that's its beauty: it's not dumbed-down to accommodate par-drunken, subintelligent lackeys, which abound in western culture. David Angell and crew did it right. R.I.P., David.

  • @SenorSpode Oh, and if I wanted subintelligent entertainment, I'd watch "Friends" or any of the crap on TV today.

  • "Niles you were wonderful."

"Thank you the trombone frightened me"

Got to love Frasier. They don't do shows like this anymore. Most shows now a days insult the intelligence. Frasier rocks.

  • I think they should have used this for his show. It was awesome.

Maybe they could have used it over the credits for the series finale. :)

  • The Dave Grohl lookalike on triangle completes the song !

  • the farting trombone!

  • thumbs up if you heard this on metv

  • Hilarious

  • Which episode is this from?

  • @bWildcat1 all i know is that the title of the episode is called 'they're playing our song'

  • @bWildcat1 frasier episode "they're playing our song"

  • Errrectile dysfunction! XD

  • One of the best scenes of the series. Classic. And damn that jingle is addictive!

  • Leon is the best!

  • The trombone frightened me

  • Doctor Crane !

    Doctor Crane !

    Frasier Craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaane !!!!

  • omg i missed this on tv hahaha how dare i!!! LOL

  • 5 people don't dare enter the dark labyrinth of the human mind.

  • Niles Crane is the best.

  • It's like Gilbert and Sullivan... only frightening.

  • this thing annoys me alot but i'm strangly addited to it can someone explain why i keep watching it???????

  • Oh man Fraiser is too much <3

  • Stanza 3: Choir: (singing) So if you are stymied to find a prognosis, And ask yourself just like Freud, "Himmel, was los ist?" (German for "Heavens, what's going on?") Stop scratching your head, Let us cure it instead, On our show, on our show. Now here is the man, to explain, The tortured terrain, of your brain, The man who feels, everyone's pain, Dr Crane! Dr Crane! Frasier Craaaaaane!
  • Stanza 2:

Niles: (speaking) Who dares enter the dark labyrinth of the human mind?

What festering secrets are buried in the recesses of the subconscious?

    Lurid images,

    Crude desires,

    Guilty pleasures,

    Strange compulsions,

    [a trombone plays]

The whole catalogue of human behaviour from the abulic to the monstrous lurks behind a locked door to which one man holds the key!

    [a gong is struck]

  • Stanza 1: Choir: (singing) Whom can you turn to for prompt diagnosis? A fetish or fantasy? Sex or psychosis? No problem at all, Let us handle your call, On our show, on our show. Bring us your traumas, your latent neurosis, Erectile disfunction, Bed-wetting, narcosis, There's no need for shame, You can use a false name, On our show, on our show.
  • Now that's good conducting :0

  • Where can one find the complete text of this song? It is just a genius' work!

  • amazing

  • Those plebeians. Not appreciating this ingenious theme tune.

  • lol I love niles :3

  • @SweetEllie95 is it just me or does niles kinda look like stewie

  • @jimmy2k4o lol I think its just you xD

  • Does anybody have the lyrics?

  • Way to go Leon!

  • I prefer Marty's lol.

  • way to go leon!!!

  • HOLY crap that was hysterical.

  • Brilliant

  • This is so Frasier! He just can't do simple! BTW Martin's version is very goos as a jingle. Even better than Frasier's final version, in my opinion.

  • One of my favorite scenes in the whole series! I love it! :D

  • this is the best theme ever!

  • saw this episode the other day, this part makes me laugh so much. I love Nile's part, so dramatic. :D

And Roz's boyfriend at the end. Brilliant.

  • I love how he gets into it at 1:33

  • Lol this is so epic xD

  • This has to be one of the most epic theme songs ever. I love Niles's delivery; he reminds me of Orson Welles's narration in the old The Shadow radio dramas.

  • ERECTILE DYSFCUNTION

  • You'll look bubaddy Buttons and Bows!!

  • Brilliant, I love this. If anyone knows and could help, what is the name of the metallic instrument at 0:46? If you could tell me I would be very grateful.

  • actually i dont think it's even an instrument

  • @odinnshred

It's called a waterphone...these are handmade instruments, so each one is typically unique in design and sound.

  • I loved this over-the-top theme song lol But particularly when Niles does the voiceover monologue part and he looks behind after the horn blows lol

  • Same! You can hear him at the end saying "the trombone frightened me"

    Classic Niles!

  • Where can I download this? Love it.

  • Frasier is legend of laugh and fun :) but i want to ask soem question...after this orchestra scene is frasier playing his piano at home and the theme is : " Its why Gershwins teeth were immaculate"...And hes playing some nice melody from gershwin i guess...But cant find out what is this song called :)...Could anyone tell me? :P

  • I was watching this yesterday morning. It was about 6am. Then later on I had to have an x-ray done (that's why I was up so early) I had to stand really still but I thought of this and it was very hard not to laugh!

  • And ask yourself just like freud himlich wharostis? sooooo gooood whahahahahahahahahaha

  • Greatest scene in Frasier History :D

  • lol this is hilarious ahahha

  • @BethGoth15 Season 7, episode 13. Entitled "They're playing our song"

  • Niles' solo is hilarious

  • I don't remember the first time I saw this...because I was on the ground laughing.

Fraiser is such a genius show, I still watch it all the time on Lifetime.

  • Man this sums up why Frasier is just so great.

  • lol "stop scratching ur head let us cure it instead" lmao

  • This is brilliant. Does anyone know if this was playback? It has to be, they cant have done it live.. Or could they?

Anyway, seems like the loved to do that scene.

  • I loved this moment. One of my top Frasier moments!

  • 1:50 way to go LEON!

    Thanks for the upload.

  • One of many "crowning moments of awesome" that Frasier had. It's so him... completely overblown and long-winded. Brilliant!

  • lol

  • wow.......wow..

  • jajajajajajaja

    I've watch it everyday repeatly!

  • Who knows what lurks in the shadows? FRASIER knows! XD

  • Erectile dysfunction

  • AMO A FRASIER CRANE DE VERDAD LO AMO

  • What is that thing at 0:55 used to create that sound effect?

  • I've been trying to find out for years...

  • Flexoflute.

  • It's called a Flexatone, and it's basically a vibraslap with metal instead of wood, with a tuning plate. It's pretty awesome!

  • Thanks for the upload ;D

  • ramzi45 something with heros bjut i like that episode cus niles was dressed as his dad and daphne was dressed as elton john and they were making out lol but nice vid1

  • Erectile Dysfunction. Never have those words been spoken in such high spirit and joy

  • Comment removed

  • love the facial expression of Kenny. "wow".

And Niles at the end : "Thank you. The trombone frightened me" xD xD

  • at 0:48

    whats that insturment

  • ''Thank you, the trombone frightened me'' haha

  • This is the funniest thing I've ever heard. When ever I hear it I kill my self with laughter.

  • I watch this so many times, and never get bored of this! XP I just love it! <3

  • I just got into Frasier recently. It's such a great show. The best part is that half the humour is lost due to it not catering for retards.

  • @ThePrinceII lol so tru

  • @ThePrinceII good point i watch family films and when ever i laugth the chilldren dont laugth and when the chilldren laugh i dont laugh, PHiophical reason adult humor is mored hidden werid and complicated then chillish humor, fraiser could not be shown to chilldren, and thats what made it good becuase u felt like it was made exclusivley for you, im tired of comedys trying to be two things at once

  • @ThePrinceII It's layered well though, so even the beer and chips crowd get some of the humor.

  • what is the episode that niles disguises as his father in halloween

    :)

  • Room full of heros

  • Such a great programm ;)

  • This is great, thanks for posting

  • That should of been his theme song

  • hows it going mate?

  • too long for theme song.

that's shame, they don't showing it in poland..

  • This episode was too funny. He comes up with this theme song that is all involved.

  • Absolute Classic. I love 'Buttons & Bows' as well. Thanks for posting!

  • love that theme! lol

  • it's quite a good theme in my opinion

  • i love the part at the end with Roz's boyfriend Leon..

    "way to go Leon!"

overall it was a great theme, one of my fav episodes

  • If there really is life on Mars we should send them a complete box of all the Frasier episodes. That show captures everything there is to know about human behaviour. I love, love, love Frasier. Bless the cast and the writers and the creators and everyone involved!

  • WHATS THE FRUED THING ABOUT SORRY?

  • 0:47 to 0:57

    whats are the instruments???

  • i dont know

  • i dont know

  • I don't know if everybody loves Raymond but I love Frasier.

  • "Thank you, the trombone frightened me" Hilarious!!!!

  • This has to be the best comedy on television! I (L) Niles !

  • Choir: (singing) So if you are stymied to find a prognosis,

And ask yourself just like Freud,

    In Movostasis,

    Stop scratching your head,

    Let us cure it instead,

On our show, on our show.

Now here is the man, to explain,

The tortured terrain, of your brain,

The man who feels, everyone's pain,

Dr Crane! Dr Crane! Frasier Craaaaaane!

  • This "movostasis" line is doing the rounds on the web. I think it's erroneous

I agree with Joschicam: it's probably "Himmel, was los ist?"

  • Niles: (speaking) Who dares enter the dark labyrinth of the human mind?

What festering secrets are buried in the recesses of the subconscious?

    Lurid images,

    Crude desires,

    Guilty pleasures,

    Strange compulsions,

    [a trombone plays]

The whole catalogue of human behaviour from the abulic to the monstrous lurks behind a locked door to which one man holds the key!

    [a gong is struck]

  • I think it's "abhorrent"

  • Yeah me too, that would make more sense in the speech. I just copied and pasted it from online, the guy probably wrote it down wrong.

  • It's aberrant.

  • lyrics: Choir: (singing) Whom can you turn to for prompt diagnosis? A fetish or fantasy? Sex or psychosis? No problem at all, Let us handle your call, On our show, on our show. Bring us your traumas, your latent neurosis, Erectile disfunction, Bed-wetting, narcosis, There's no need for shame, You can use a false name, On our show, on our show.
  • Lmao! This is so funny! X]P

  • Niles was the best part of this!!! Luv Niles

  • Yeah Niles' speech was the best part, Frasier was trying to make his show sound like some epic adventure lol.

  • 1:15 to 1:45 is the best part of that song!

I miss Frasier, what a great show

  • LOL.

  • I love Niles !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Everybody loves Dr Niles Crane =]

  • If you pause at 1:36 and look towards the bottom right, it looks like Jane Leeves is in the chior!

  • If only Kenny actually allowed him to use this theme song. This is much better than the thing they used for the show in the end of the episode!

  • Agreed, but it would take up half his show, lol:)

  • u say that cos ur a fuckin bowsie

  • whats the one at 0:47?

  • he he he

  • This is one of my favorite moments. I love the gong!

  • the way the guy says erectile dysfunction is hilarious

  • LOL!! I KNOW!! all his lines (ED and the german freud stuff) totally killed me. lol!

  • I'd actually love this if it was on the radio

  • What is that weird sounding "instrument" been played about 0:56?

  • It's a flexatone

  • cool. ty :)

  • wow is right! XD

  • Oh, awesome~ This episode is going to come on in a few days and all I saw was that "Frasier goes overboard composing a theme song for his radio show". I was going to wait, but... Frasier is so arrogant and silly that I was hoping to find the lyrics to it, but yay for you 'cause you uploaded a video of it~ Thank you!

  • @Tokyopoprock your punctuation makes what you said confusing loll

  • Proxy Prexy on season 10 disc 1 is by far not the greatest Fraiser episode of all time......OH WAIT! IT IS! LOL

Please watch that episode to understand this

  • watch the show ;)

  • I believe Frasier was the scrambled eggs and Niles was the tossed salad.

  • lol i like listening to it

  • You should watch this episode and then comment again.

  • Idiot, he was making a song for his radio show.

  • Look out boys and girls, he's talking in his natural accent! Shit's gonna go down!
