  • times before it makes you love endures the hard drive and her cries for help and we ignore you huh what we would we would laugh at you tuhen

  • Wow! The amount of views this video got! Thanks for the comments everyone.

To the people that think it was a waste: Don't worry. It was a ~12GB hard drive, which was standard circa 1998. We, as tech support, destroy hard drives before we throw them out, just in case there was sensitive data.

  • My brain runs ext5 and runs on s basic unix format with most standard unix utilities installed, I think I need to run a disk check but it tells me I need to unmount my brain before I do it or otherwise I may cause unrepairable damage. What should I do?

  • @TheInuYashaDogEars If you have a spare brain available, I suggest you clone your own brain onto it, using the rsync utility. You can then mount and boot to the second brain, so you can and run a disk check on the first. Once complete, boot back to your first brain, and be sure to wipe the second brain, as it may remember personal information, such as your social security number or PIN numbers.

  • I killed a hard drive before, but then I wrote a heavy metal song about it.

  • MURDER! MURDER! MURDER! Poor hard drive was crying out for help and you guys just sit there and brutally torture this poor thing to death! How can you sleep at night knowing that you killed an innocent hard drive?

  • GUYS. The meowing sound is caused when the needle is failing to read anything. It will then create the beeping sound.

  • @rhandyrhodesidol lol X D it was actualy good it had a virus and every time i used the dvds they sold me at bestbuy the virus kept on poping up and i got mad and got a new drive

  • @rhandyrhodesidol lol no u cant X D i tryed it on my old one i went to mechanic shop and they had a electric magnet and i used it and then it just beeped

  • poor little guy, not even windows could save it

  • simplest way to kill HD under warranty. take the HD out of the case, wires attached & running, wrap in a towel &lightly bang it on a table covered W/foam over &over..do multiple soft hits not hard hits, plus Ucan physically damage the exterior, negating warranty as theyll say you abused it. other options. use a hair dryer on the pcb. Don't burn. OR..while it's running short chips on the backside of the HD with a screwdriver. wear rubber gloves &shoes just in case. I've done all 3 successfully

  • everyone thats saying that the hdd could of been used it was old it was most likely 1-7 gig something like that

  • so can u still use hardrive after that?

  • why? like honestly...you just wasted a perfectly good hard drive. i wouldve bought it

  • @demizeYARMON

    It's for Science, dude...

  • Its crying.

  • I think you just destroyed your entire porn collection.

  • I putted the magnet on 320gb HDD. Is there any way to fix it :(

  • @fizo4001 no

  • I just thought: "lol"

  • funny

  • :( That poor western digital. i have a 10.2GB Western digital WD102 and it still works.

  • Is there a way to fix it?

  • ahh poor hardrive :-(

  • Jerks

  • meow meow meow

  • oh no you killed all the lolcats o_O

  • CAT WTF?! lmfao

  • One word can justify these actions, seagate.

  • Poor Hard Disk :(

  • This video kinda make me mad but it was damm fucking funny when the magnet was spinning on top, LOL XD

  • wow hdd are EPIC

  • BS Admin,,,, if you place a bigger magnet, such as a car or home speaker on a moving hard drive it actually erases all data and makes the drive un-useable for any one. Once you do the magnet thing then drop it in acid, problem solved.

  • I love the noise it makes at 1:26

  • #I thought it was a cat lol

  • This is HDD Rape!

  • It sounds like a kitteh!

  • fukk you

  • :) I love these days!

  • The hard drive meowed at you. It was cute, but I don't think the hard drive likes you anymore.

  • its a hard drive siren lol, it sounds like a police siren whooping.

  • And results?

    ----------------------------------------

Dont place magnet on drive while it is running. This causes overwriting and serious malfunction and this doesnt really destroy any data. It just overwrites it to wrong place. Such a small magnet doesnt have any effect againts hard drives.. or if drives "destroyes", it is not caused by the magnet. I have few videos about this here in youtube..

  • You sick, sick bastards.

I could hear it screaming for help.

  • @The1stPoster thats so messed up

  • @The1stPoster im guessing youre a computer nerd, and this video is dusty the cat.

  • @The1stPoster This is so sad:( The HDD is crying:(

  • It was whining when it made that weird sound

  • @Theringfilm your awesome
