Hey, I just got a set of Yamaha Tour Customs.. I think they have similar bass drum spurs. Can you tell me how to put the spikes of the spur in so that they dont scratch the wooden floor??
Laserjik we don't go pointing out how shit metallica are, or how Technicaly awful most Bands are so keep your obviusly uneducated views away from this video. Each to thier own
Sorry for our distraction. The sound of tihs video was obtained by standard drumheads with medium tension. It's possible to get louder sound with drumheads heavier like REMO PINSTRIPE or EMPEROR. Bye
Hi, the snare is the standard Tour Custom 14x5,5 (maple). For playng metal, you can try Yamaha Brass, Copper snares (size 14x6). Tama' snare are very interesting; Metalworks Series (a lot of size) is great and the price is very cheap.
Yes, it is Yamaha Tour Custom (I don't tihnk is a reissue - it is a new model). The heads are original-standard yamaha. The mikes were XXL (italian mikes).
Bravo!

I'm a little new to this kind of drumming--could you tell me what time signature this is? Thanks.

The time is 4/4. If you want more information about this timing you can consult the method of David Garibaldi, Funky Beat. Bye
