  • hi i have a stupid Q.... i like using bobbi brown bronzers because i have pale skin can i use a blush over it or are bluses used only on foundation?? thanks

  • OMG WAYNE YOU LOOK SO HOT IN GLASSES

  • I like it when you look directly into the camera lens :-)

  • Dang.. Wayne looks hot in glasses

  • are they good for oily/prone skin???thanks for the review!

  • I LOVE Bobbi Brown products! GAH!

I seriously love sooo many things from BB!

  • Would you mind post a vidio about Bobbi brown brushes please?and your opinion about each?

  • @USAloverq8 i'd love a brush review too.. especially knowing you worked for the company!!

  • I do have mad love for the Bobbi Brown products. My favorites are the gel liners, blushes, pot rouges, and lipsticks. But I do have to say, some of the sparkles or shimmer eyeshadows will not stick to my eyelids and that makes me sad. :( However, I overall adore the brand and will never stop buying from them.

  • thank you so much. I have to get the apricot. I love your honestly. I actually thought the same with the skincare products she has.

  • Love all the tips & your straight forward review. Thanks for the advice for the 40 & up crowd. Sometimes we get overlooked in reviews. I plan on trying the apricot since I have a light olive complexion.

  • Certain products that Bobbi Brown has is a must have for me.....I prefer Matte eyeshadow textures over shimmers (I do have one shimmer from them- Golden Leaf which is a great olive-y shade) My go to everyday matte shade is Toast and for brows is Rich Brown! Their brushes are amazing, Hydrating eye cream, Pot Rouges. I do think that their shimmer bricks prices are over priced. I can get a product like that from Milani for $10. But hey I do have two Shimmer Bricks (Nude and Apricot)

  • what are your favorite bobbi brown eye shadows?

  • Hi there, love the vids. I have some blushes which i need a palette to fit them into, can u please tell me what the measurements of the individual compartments are. Thanks.

  • i recently bought a bobbi brown palette and must say that i am impresssed. their e/s are great quality (up with nars in my estimation). can't wait to try more of bobbi brown products :)

  • I recently rediscovered BB eyeshadows -- absolutely love them and find them superior to MAC. I bought a six pallet and filled it up with my existing and newly purchased stuff. I don't think they really know how to market to women of color; just my opinion... but my knowledge of what works for me color wise -- I just go and get my stuff..

  • I have Bobbi Brown's Toast, Taupe and Golden Leaf and they are all amazing, the palettes are fab-u-lous too! The matte shades are soft and highly pigmented and the shimmers are smooth and highly pigmented as well! When it comes to color I do prefer M.A.C eyeshadows (I have Odd Couple and Very Violet).

  • you're gorrrrg haha and it's good you're not disillusioned by brands. i've noticed a few people who do reviews hail products just because they're mac / nars/ bobby brown

  • Hi love your videos you are the best!

I am a makeup artist and do bridal work.

CAN YOU ADVISE ON BOBBIE BROWN COLOURS FOR A BRIDAL PALETTE perhaps 6 colours please I HAVE MOST OF THE MATT SHADES BUT LOOKING FOR SOME GOOD FOR BRIDES AND PHOTOS. MANY THANKS ANN

  • thanks for this! i think i'll check out my bobbi brown counter now :)

  • i love bobbi brown stuff ive really gotten into it lately :)

  • bobbi brown is my new fav makeup line. i love their rouge pots!ur video on contouring with milk chocolate encouraged me to to try them, they also look great on the lips very easy and natural. i bought one eyeshadow, its hugu\e! im never gonna finish it, black plum i think its called, very pidmented but the texture is amazin, and easy to apply., its tru they are more pricey than mac but worth it, ive used them everyday since buying them. thanks for the video its hard to really reviews on it

  • Hello Wayne,

I love Bobbi brown blushes, and I'm thinking about buying Bahama brown (blush).

I am an NC20-25 but I have slightly red cheeks of my own. Will that blush even word for me?

    xo Gabrielle

  • Youtube tends to be very MACentric I searched for a longtime for someone reviewing Bobbi Brown cosmetics. Good work! I appreciate your honesty and emphasis on cost vs. value. I agree that some of the Bobbi skin-care products are silly. However, Bobbi Brown is unequaled when it comes to foundation (especially matching ethnic skin tones).

  • i love bobbi brown but i dont buy their stuff often because its expensive and i have macs pro discount so its much more cheaper but definately i am going to be geting some of their stuff more often i really loved one shimmery kind of navy blue eyeshadow :D i think their palette system is amazing!!!!

  • Hi there! First time ive come across your videos, very easy to watch... ive only been to a Bobbi Brown counter once, but i went a bit mental lol... i got the Apricot blush, which i LOVE ( i have ivory skin btw), then i made up my own three eyeshadow pallette, consisting of bone, cement and espresso (LOVE them all, excellent colour pay off), and i also got Sage, a metallic, i love it!!!! x

  • Hi, Wayne, do you like any of Bobb's foundations, and if so what are your favorites. Just curious. Thank you.

  • Nice video :)

I love Bobbi Brown blushes and eyeshadows. I got a big palette and created my own bridal palette with favorite colors in blush, lipstick and eyeshadow. Really great idea to be able to put it all in one palette (and concealer too!).

    xo Michelle :)

  • i have nvr seen a boy tht wears makeup

    its pretty cool :)

  • If you haven't seen a boy who wears makeup then you haven't seen Michael Jackson or been to a theater. :3

  • I like Bobbi Brown eye shadows, blushes, lipesticks, gel eyeliners. The skin care is OK but over priced. I don't like the foundation. It is too yellow even for me Asian skin. They are expensive but good quality.

  • Like your videos very much. Your suggestion for peach for the over 40 crowd got my attention - i'm 63 - question I bought a BB palette but it is shinnery - what are your thoughts on shimmers on older(er) women? thanks

  • They just came out with their "Ivy League" collection so I was just wondering, have you seen it and what are your opinions on it?

  • I love Bobbi Brown's Pale Pink blush. It is absolutely a beautiful blue pink that works on most.

  • Great video, Wayne. I had purchased the holiday eye shadow palette from Bobbi Brown called the shimmering nudes palette this past winter, thinking that I would get a good deal on high quality eye shadows but I was wrong - the colours all looked the same, and there was hardly any pigmentation. I ended up exchanging it for store credit. However, the eye shadows you swatched in this video look gorgeous and seem very smooth.

  • I think Bobby Brown has lovely eye shadows which are highly pigmented but they're too pricey in my opinion, however, BB does not have good selection of foundations for women of color (WOC) - and neither does Bare Escentuals for that matter. For some odd reason the major mineral makeup companies do not carry a wide variety of foundations for WOC which is why I patronize companies which overlook the needs of WOCs.

    Thanks for the review. Blessings.

  • u look so cute here!! xD

i like those palettes... but can you you buty the e/s as singles?

  • I love Bobbi Brown pressed powder products! I do like their foundations, I have the moisture rich, although the lightest, Alabaster is too yellow on me and I've to tone it down with a pink/white mixer. Says on the website that that shade is one of their only slight pink toned bases but that's codswallop, Lol!

    xx

  • Bobbi Brown eye shadows are the best, very good quality, a nice highlight shade is BONE. Her correctors are wonderful also, I use light bisque which is amazing for concealing dark circles under the eyes.I also love her yellow powder which I never hear mentioned much. She`s so right about some so called translucent powders which actually leave your skin looking chalky & ashen. The yellow powder doesn`t look yellow when applied,it just seems to cast a healthy radiance. I like her brushes also.

  • I love love the matte eyeshadows, they seem to blend really nicely; most mattes are tough for me and my poor blending skills ;p Will have to try out apricot, it looks quite rosey onscreen here, almost like Blushbaby or something, but I'm imagining it's more apricotty in person? Thankyou for the great video :))

  • I don´t know, but your videos has been so low in the volume recently...

  • Im sooo not a fan of her foundations or correctors. I love the texture of the foundations but finding a colour match if you have little yellow undertones is horrible.I know all the genius MA's blab on about everyone needing a yellow undertone but i keep getting asked if im feeling sick when im wearing my BB stick foundation (im quite fair)I think the graftobian corrector palette is better for undereye circles, the BB corrector creased on me and you can mix with the graftobian one.

  • Ow I hate!! their foundation. Sometimes I see a vid with BB saying that you need a yellow based foundation, a must have. In an other vidoe she said... well yellow undertones dont look good on me so I always mix with mine with something else.. please!! I paid a lot of money on one of the cream foundation. It was the worst thing I could do :( And the MA told me no! It doesnt look yello.. yuck.. but Love the blushes!

  • I cannot hear you talking properly, your mic is just way too soft sweetiepie :)

  • I love your video's, but maybe a new microphone?

  • i like the corrector but i find that it does crease a bit under the eye...the eye cream is good though for night time...i have to try the eyeshadows...I wonder if they are a bit like laura Mercier?? because the matte's from Laura Mercier are wonderful!!!

  • BB eye brightener. I love this to use (for myself) under the eye as you would a concealer or to brighten the shadows. The consistency is not as thick as most "concealers" so it is easier to use. Couldn't do without this one.

  • once again, many thanks for your honest review! ;)

  • WAyyyyyne: (why am I whining?) I too fell for the BB face grains. Love the jar, hate the contents. Turns out any ol' apricot scrub would do the same thing. Same diff with the lip gloss. A tin of vaseline would work the same. But why use vaseline when you can flash a BB tin? So is it a good thing to grind coffee and use it as a scrub? Would it be a good way to get a dose of caffeine on the skin? Or would it just be a waste of good bean?

  • BarryDMoss

Bobbi browns lipbalm is diffently not the same as vaseline!!! Vaseline is mineraloils and is the worst thing to but on your lips. B.B lipbalm has natural oils in it and that is what you want to put on to your lips!

  • whats wrong with mineral oils?...

  • Mineral oils (parafin) will clog your pores if your moisturizer is made by it, because it is as a layer on top of your skin.

when we are talking vaseline it is the same, it only goes on top, were natural oils penetrate the skin and reper.

  • bobbi brown is great!!!

    thanks for sharing:)

  • I love her stuff for Bridal work. Her line just seems to gravitate toward that style of makeup...that beautiful everyday (but better) look;)

Big fan of her pallets ( so convenient and classy!) , though the foundation in the pallet is a ripoff;( Full sized Foundation Sticks are the way to go instead and oh...the BEACH perfume? MAhhhvelous!

    Thanks Wayne!

  • I only have a couple but love my BB eyshadows so yummy and smooth. But, but those are magical beans they put in that scrub. You know the ones that are going to take away all my wrinkles and spots. Right... right? LOL.

  • love bobbi brown. thanks for commenting on the products. i find so few people discuss her line.

  • I LOVE ur videos...but if you could !!PLEASE!! somehow make the volume on them higher.....

    thanks

  • Sending you a HELLO and love, MAREK :-) xoxoxo

  • Oh..they are so pretty. I love them. Wayne I saw the lightest new peachy bronzer that you demo'd. Thank you. I am going to go back and get it. Thanks again..luv ya!

  • love your reviews! BB Cosmetics...love the shadows, blush the shimmer brick..lipsticks have a strange odor to them, but still love the shade called, Brownie...nice pinky brown neutral.

  • you're the first person I've seen that look exactly the same with or w/o glasses on :D

and also the first guru who make reviews that are actually informative, thanks for another review!

  • Bobbi Brown and smashbox are some of my favorite cosmetics.. honestly i am not such a huge fan of MAC. Not to say I dont like some of the stuff they make but they are not my favorite brand

  • you want comments and you dont reply,it sounds fair, isnt it?

  • I like apricot lip colors & I'm older *and* pale; so maybe i should check out a certain blush...ty~

  • You know - I just purchased a new Bobbi Brown 6 pallette for a future vacation I will be taking and I thought it would be great as you can do blush, eyeshadow and foundation all in one pallette. I have just started using the colors and I absolutely think they look great on- very flattering to me. I don't do a lot of shimmer but the mattes are fabulous! I hope the guru's start to do bobbi brown tutorials more! I can't wait!

  • The apricot blush looks so gorgeous!!! I am trying not to purchase right now and Wayne you are not helping!!!

Thanks for the review, I enjoy seeing the sizes and colors of products from you. It helps me decide if I want to go into the store and have a look.

I am a Mom (that is my excuse) and am worried about your eye. I hope it is better. xoxo

  • I'm not really into BB to be honest, in fact I didn't even know their pans had gone square, last I had were round. I had the famous ubiquitous Bone, and I have a nice pink shimmer wash one. Maybe I'll give BB another chance...! X

PS Hope the eye is doing better, you do look so adorable in glasses mind xxx

  • I am yet to try the BB eyeshadow, but I do like their foundation and corrector a whole lot, and their cream blush pots are also fantastic. Great video Wayne, as always xx

  • Hi Wayne :-) Do you have naturally gorgeous skin tone color or do you use a self tanner? I too love Bobbi Brown's eyeshadows and blushes. The Brown family actually grew up in the same town as I did. Bobbi was much older, I knew her younger sister Linda.

  • they look great! to bad i can't get those palettes in norway :(

  • You are absolutely adorable!!! I love your tutorials! Thank you so much!!! Xoxox!

  • thanks for the review :)

  • I would love to see the matte shades!

    Thanks, Granny Carol

  • Thanks for the BB review. Her products aren't as widely discussed on youtube compared to MAC. I will check out more of her products.

  • I don't own any bobby brown stuff, but I think the colours are a bit boring and samey, aren't they ?

  • I think all of them are Delicious!

  • Are those blush colors good for women with dark/darker skin? If not, please recommend some BB colors that will look good. I want to give BB a try. Thanks!

  • Love the BB blushes - they are the best out there. Eyeshadows are OK - not that special. The worst product IMO are the lipsticks because they go "off" so fast - I always end up tossing them before I've used all the product.

  • i love your accent ♥

  • my experience has been that they eyeshadows arent very pigmented, ive been rather disappointed

  • im cheap i use lipstick as blush :)

  • Everything looks so beautiful. I have always wanted to try Bobbi Brown products ever since they first came out years ago, but I never have. I will eventually...

  • OMG half of your make up is Bobby Brown! You'll say anything to strike up conversations with my man! You're such a kiss ass!~ have you no shame!??

  • No, I have no shame. I'm trying to get him to feel bad and buy some for me. Get out of my way Texas woman!!

  • Bite your tongue!! Now you know Im a OC California girl who lives in Texas~I am NOT a Texas girl!!!

  • Oh, now you're saying that when it's convenient. When you want multiple husbands, you're the one who brings up Texas, aren't you?

  • haha i love the mini rant about the 'beans'

    x

  • Thanks so much for the review!

  • Hi Wayne, thanks for this review.

BB e/s and blushes are very nice to apply and blend, and with a suitable base underneath will last all day.

The e/s are 2.5g vs MAC 1.5 g, so 40% more product from BB. The only downside(?) with BB is the colour range. However, the colours are more wearable/neutral for everday.

Also, BB 4 pan palette filled with your choice will cost around £52 -56, and it comes with HUGE mirror. 4 pan Quad from MAC not as robust as BB and no mirror!

    Tx again Wayne!

  • I have always been very put off by bobbi brow because of the prices, but maybe i'll pick up an eyeshadow in my local cco, next time I'm there

  • may be this was my blush i don't know may be it's old or something but it's so had to blend i apply it with blush and itried to blend my skin turn red even but the orangey chunk still there

  • Omg lol how funny you do that vid today !

I bought my first Bobbi Brown blush today (Spice n°12) Perfect for contour ! I love it ! And so pigmented ! It was only 13,50€ instead of 27€ (makeup sales in France lol).

I bought the 4 Pan palette too because I want to buy more to put it in. It was only 6,10€ instead of 12,20€.

    I love Bobbi Brown products.

People : Any Bobbi Brown blush colour I should really get ???

  • I love my Bobbi Brown eyeshadow palettes btw. Do you know if there's a difference between the quality of premade palettes vs. singles (that you can pop into a palette yourself)?

  • Thanks! I just recently found you. You are so helpful; much appreciated!

  • Is Flame a true red? It looks like it on their website, but it looked brownish in your video :)

  • Thanks for this very useful but will have to wait to get any as just invested in 3 of the mac blushes you recommended. I have the Bobbi Brown dark peach corrector it's good but not great, I really want to try Eve Pearl's salmon concealer in Tan, will have to get it 1 day in the not too distant future, shame re shipping charge to UK. Thanks so much for your time and advice, I'm learning loads, much appreciated. Hope your eye is healing quickly.

  • you dont strike me as a "work for someone else" type dude.

  • hey you sexy thang!! Love the shadows and blushes!! I'm a big fan of eggplant!!! That color is so versatile. You are such a stud, my friend...love the video and hope you're well.

    xoxoxo

    luv,

    jessie

  • HI Darlin, your lookin really well atm. I have a few Bobbi Brown shades myself, to be honest with you I don't rate them too much I prefer MAC myself.

    MWAH as always

    XXX

  • Hey do you still have that eye-stye problem?

  • Hi Wayne! Is the 100 foundation shade of Illamasqua's foundation pure white, or somewhat skin look alike ?
