  • where is this at

  • so what happened?

  • @chfe1 I can't remember too well but I think they pulled out in front of somebody or somebody turned in front of them.

  • @JASON8502 i cant recall how many calls i have responded to that have been caused by people cutting people off. I have been to about 3 of them that have been fatal. how do you cope with seeing the people.

I have only been on for about a year and i still find it hard to go to these calls.

is there anything you can tell me on how to deal with it?

  • @butnob951 Best thing to do is just talk to your fellow Firefighters. After each bad run I will make everybody involved go to the Station right after and we will all talk about it. That is the only thing you can do. Just find somebody in the department to talk to.

  • @JASON8502 hey thanks man where im from we are a volunteer fire department and im only 16 so thanks and i will talk to my fellow firefighters

  • What kind of lights do you have on your vechical?

  • @jake346kmt I have a video of the car on my page. I have a Verve LED light bar, 4 corner strobes, rear LED window lights from Galls that sit on both sides of the third brake light, and wigwags.

  • @JASON8502 That's a lot of fatal accidents for a small town...

  • did the vic pass away at the hospital or enroute to the hospital

  • that was the shortest response i'v seen you do most of them a half way across the county.

  • Cool videos, I subscribed. Was the victim DOA? (Dead on Arrival)

  • No, not at first

  • Oh I was wondering because I thought via radio there was a request for a coroner and I was confused on why they would be called. but as you said they didnt. Thanks for answering.

  • are you in 8502? love your videos

  • Yes

  • what siren are you using? it sounds awesome

  • Some type of Whelen, not sure what type though

  • whelen 295hf100 or 200

  • Chief goes to pretty much all calls

  • Single Vehicle?

  • No, blue chevy silverado vs a small 2 door passenger car.

  • I didnt see the Truck,

  • You can see the truck at the entrance to the gas station when Jason first gets on the scene. Until he pointed it out, I wouldn't have known that truck was involved in the crash, although you can kind of tell it's been hit in the front by the way it's unevenly leaning forward.
