its not as hard as you think you can get hit by a purpel bullet for 3 sec after that you need to stay away from it you can repeat it if your think you wont make it you can use a specialbilty for the character you choose on the beginning activating this special will caus all the enemy bullets dissapear for some few seconds i completed this game but the other version on the ps2

These is not the hardest boss ever,it is just the most offerate because you cannot die in these game.

The Touhou games are much harder because you can die very quickly.

@Szadek23 Lie,you can die,it has a smaller hitbox than in any touhou game,chances of dying are more in this.Also just to fight this boss you have to end the game without dying.

if you die you can press continue and then you can fight on,the boss do not restore any hp,

so techinaly anyone can beat these boss.

right that is very hard,but these means that the players add restrions to make the boss harder.

A very hard boss has to be very also when the players fight him without any restrions and with any equip/buffs/other good stuff(of course exept cheats and bug using).

I do not consider myself a good player, but even i can do better than that.

The video must have been recorded shortly after this game's release, because expert players can clear this boss without dying.

IIRC, someone 1cced this game, and beat Larsa with a 4-miss clear. There's also now the Black Label version, which has more slowdown and a new harder final boss. Dunno if that one's been 1cced.

This is one of the hardest arcade ald PS2 games.

TH's danmaku patterns are intricately designed. A careful hand and a fair bit of memorization/bombing makes it a good bit more fair (save some of the EX bosses).

This just seems biased towards destroying you. The speed and frequency of the bullets seems a LOT harder than TH IMHO; I don't know if some of them are possible without repeatedly bombing (re: 4:33).
