@moeghafffari : He is living near to Annecy (74) in France. If you need to get in touch with him, he sometimes comes here otherwise i can tell it to him if he doesn't come soon.
My first looping was in 1970. Like so many others did at that time, involuntarily : we were towed by cars, boats, snow mobiles, etc, and the tow line snapped, so we made a loop involuntarily.
The idea of looping came from there.
As far as I know, H. Bayard stopped doing the tumbling after the KOSEN, or FELDEN MEET.
I was asked on that meet not to do the loops, because I would give a bad example, so pilots woud try to loop without of the needed preparation.
Nice video. However, the first looping with a flex wing was made by swiss pilot henri bayard during summer 1975. the loop was recorded and documented, bayard repeated the loop many times. Rudy followed him a year later.
Around 1978 Bill Moyes showed us the original 16mm film footage of Kishazy's consecutive loops (without the needless embelishments). It's great to see some of it again posted here as part of a TV show. Thanks!
in fact, he was living in the top of the SEMNOZ, the mountain on the west of the lake d'annecy when he was "working" with his eagles and condors and flying with his hang glider and the eagle (Breezy; etc...)
but we still live in the same area but on the east side of the lake.
Rudy the man with famous necklace. If anyone knows where this crazy man lives please let him know Moe in Seattle is looking for him.

H. Bayard never did a loop with a hang glider ; you can ask himself. H. Bayard would not say you the contrary.
Just for the record, he did made attempts without success. Each time, he did a positive tumbling and not a looping!
Positive tumbling = the sail inverse to negative and this is not a looping.
