  • there was never a trailer, frank oz hated all the ones they made so a tariler was never shown in cinemas, if this is one of them, i can see why he hated it

  • Great team of Michael and Steve.

  • This is a Film that just gets funnier with age...so many good performances & ideas...I love this film!

  • Katers17

  • @freerunmaster6 hell yeah :D

  • I can see John Cleese as Lawrence and Robert De Niro as Freddy. Although, they both had a movie come out the same year. John had A fish called Wanda and Bob had Midnight run (both also comedies) I'm just saying I could see them both in those roles.

  • One of the best movies ever!!!! The way it ends it priceless

  • you know how the movie ends lol..the girl was the dirtiest scoundrel lol..

  • @alinn71 I hope you go to hell.

  • @jasperdel24 i truly apologize for my actions but you should understand I am smart and what goes around comes around. thank you ..you are always welcome to my channel..

  • @alinn71 Sorry, I just get extremely mad when it comes to movie spoilers, especially facing the fact that I was interested in watching this movie. In fact, I'm still very disappointed now. Thanks to your class (taking it like a true lady), however, I have more respect for you.

  • i love this movie but the best part is the end!!!!!!!!!

  • Michael Caine and Steve Martin..........theres nothing more to say, this film is a classic! Caine makes me proud to be british :)

  • lmao...the trailer narration makes this movie sound really lame and corny...yet the movie itself is hilariously awesome.

  • the wheel chair stuff cracks me up

  • great movie. even better musical

  • This is the best comedy ever!

  • According to Michael Caine in his new autobiography 'The Elephant to Hollywood' this, out of his HUGE body of work, this was his favourite movie to work on. It sure is one of my favourites! And Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, though it is not officially credited as a remake of Bedtime Story, it did closely follow the plot of the 1964 film starring David Niven and Marlon Brando. And interestingly, according to Wikipedia, Frank Oz hated this trailer and "no trailer was ever, officially released".

  • i say the play of this it was great!

  • This movie is one of my favorite comedies ever

  • Excellent film...very clever story and comedy!

  • the begining song name: Prologue/Dirty Rotten Theme

  • I love this movie absolute classic!! 80s are the best movie era. Love the part with Michael Caine is: Lawrence Jamieson, Dr Emil Schowfhousen & Chips O'Toole LOLLLLLLLLLLL.

  • dr. schopphauser:)

  • What's the music at 0:37?

  • @manjamfan Putting on the Ritz

  • That's such a good combination of actors... <3

I need to see this or the musical.

  • This is a comedy gem. Hilarious from start to finish, and doesn't need to resort to gross out, modern day "comedy" to get a reaction from the audience. Caine and Martin seem born to work with each other. And thankfully Yoda and Palpatine put their little duel in the Senate behind them to team up on this.

    "And you majored in?"

    A tad defensive: "Metal shop."

Not surprised at all. "Metal shop."

  • i just saw this play at my school

  • And certainly one of the most underrated soundtracks.

  • Excuse me, may I go to the bathroom?

    Certainly.

    aaahhhhhhh!

  • @FerretJohn yeah that part was supr funny

  • my school is doing this as a musical!!

  • might be wicked. I wish I could see this as a musical :)

    One of my favourite movies...

  • ...My school is as well...

  • awesome movie

  • Great movie! It's way better than

    "Bringing Down the House"!

  • This movie seemed like it was on all the time for a few years, but I totally for got about ti.

  • they don't make 'em like this anymore.

  • ha ha, if ever there was an example of a trailer not doing the film justice.

  • Anybody know where I can find the teaser trailer for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels? It was brilliant, featured no footage from the actual movie, and didn't even show Michael Caine or Steve Martin's faces.

  • I remember it from seeing it as a kid in the theatres. You are right - it's brilliant. I wish it was here.

  • Just pure class.

  • Just brilliant comedy movie -- reminds me male version of Heartbreakers.

Steve Martin and Michael Cain were amazing.

    Must see movie!

  • i had no idea that this was a west end show as well. I love the slap stick comedy tune for this, cracks me up. I love Micheals Austrailian, this was a very under rated film, But what i appreciate is that this film came from a time when a lot of shows were being made into films, and oddly they hd micheal caine in lol Like noises off and the films were seen as unfaithful but as their own thing, were genius

  • Loved the movie best, part was when he Michael Caine was hitting Steve with the metal wire.

  • one of the classics. and they're going to desecrate its name by remaking it. with "high-tech, modern day con men." ugh. shoot me now.

  • Oh God, you're joking. What morons!

  • You are aware that this movie itself is a remake of the David Niven/Marlon Brando comedy "BedTime Story", right?

  • @TamOClannie You know, THIS version is a remake of 1964's "Bedtime Story."

  • @ThatWasFred yeah i know. but just like "the longest yard" starring adam sandler remade "mean machine" starring vinnie jones, by using all the jokes from the british movie, and not bothering much with the original "longest yard", i'm sure if someone is remaking "dirty rotten scoundrels" they're not thinking much about the movie from 1964.

  • @TamOClannie why does holly wood think they can take a classic and make it better? they always fail

  • "I've got culture coming out of my ... (silence)"

  • Check out the trailer for the british market.

  • I don't think the push of the old lady at the end of the trailer is actually in the film

  • Its not. It was filmed purely for the trailer. Notice Lawrence pushes the kids face into his candy floss? XD

  • you know tom cruise was going to play steve martins part...? it wouldnt have worked

  • at 1.48 the 2 girls walking on the left in the white and black is michael caines daughter (in black) and her school friend.. incase you wanted to know lol

  • que buena pelicula la tengo k ver otra ves, 19

  • this is SUCH an amazing movie!xx

  • Great movie! One of Steve Martin's best.

  • I loved that movie. It was, IMO, a classic as soon as it came out.
