I have nothing against the way people look, but fuck mexico. Its stupid to pay homage to anywhere but the country you live in today and now. Fuck the past and fuck ancestors there is a reason a person leaves their country because its was a shit hole. Pls people don't be traitors.
@AguilaComandanteDGO The fact that they conquered so much of the world has to attest to something. They still had the means to "steal" ideas and innovations through trade or the superiority to attain them by conquering people groups. Even if they stole ideas, they did still improve or innovate on such ideas.. I'm not saying your people didn't achieve great things, but from an objective standpoint as being neither European or Latin American, Europe was still more advanced....
@AguilaComandanteDGO Even Americans bathed daily since the 1800's.. Roman aqueducts are still standing, but Italy, along with the rest of (western) Europe has advanced to the point where they don't need to use such aqueducts anymore..and most civilizations of the time had aqueducts too, but none like the system Romans had. Oh, and even Americans bathed daily during the 1800's.
@AguilaComandanteDGO Having elections doesn't necessarily mean its a democracy. The Athenians established what is regarded as the first democracy in 507BC.
The Romans still improved and advanced their engineering and architecture to previously unforeseen heights. Their aqueduct system wouldn't be surpassed for 1000 years - their water usage per capita is on par with modern NYC. Many of their bridges and roads are still used to this day. Those feats are impressive, even by modern standards.
@AguilaComandanteDGO Ok, the Greeks and Romans had more advantages, so what? Should they not have utilized such advantages? That also doesn't change the fact that they were still more advanced. And I'd say the Greek creation of Democracy is pretty original and damn innovative for their time. Militarily, they were easily the best for their time. The Greek model of the phalanx is pretty original too, as is the 3-line Roman Legion. Roman engineers/architects were also the best of their time.
@AguilaComandanteDGO (continued) Really? Because wheeled vehicles dating back to the 4th Millennium BCE have been found in Mesopotamia and Central Europe. That's long before Mexicans existed...you know..since Mexico only came about as a country in 1821...and how the majority of Mexicans are Mestizos. Aside from the clear logical flaw, the only use of the wheel for the Olmec was for children's toys...and that's hardly innovative if it never was put to actual use to advance civilization.
@AguilaComandanteDGO It makes no difference how civilizations developed or integrated technological advancements, in the end, the Greeks and Romans were still more advanced. Trade and cultural exchanges are one of many methods used to advance civilizations. Oh, and math developed by Greek mathematicians such as Euclid, Archimedes, Aristotle, and Pythagoras are still used to this very day.
The Aztecs never even reached the Bronze or Iron Ages due to their lack of such resources.
@AguilaComandanteDGO Really? Is that why they were technologically inferior and still practiced human sacrifices? The Aztec records say they sacrificed 84,000 prisoners in 4 days. They may have achieved great things, but the fact is that all it took was a 530 Conquistadors and 1000 Tlaxcalans to bring down the Aztec Empire, which had 15 million citizens. As for the Inca, it only took 180 Europeans.
I'd say the Romans were easily more advanced. The ancient Greeks were too.
@AguilaComandanteDGO (cont) Oh, and the Inca and Aztec did use warfare to conquer smaller tribes around them, that's how they became empires. That's no better than Europeans, the only difference is that Europeans were more successful and went further. China's many dynasties conquered with force too. How come you don't condemn any of their actions? You can go ahead and hate on Europeans all you want, it doesn't even bother me considering how I have absolutely no European/white blood in me at all.
@AguilaComandanteDGO No, Easter is a holiday. I never said Europe was more advanced than China in 1492, I said it was more advanced than the pre-colonial Americas, you illiterate, blithering idiot. The Inca and Aztecs must have been very advanced in order to be conquered by relatively small numbers of Spanish Conquistadors, right?
You don't find things like human sacrificing and mutilation barbaric or savage? You act like tribes didn't fight amongst themselves before Europeans anyway.
@AguilaComandanteDGO Caps lock only shows your immaturity. I'm sure Western civilization didn't originate because of Easter. What Europeans did with the United States is close enough to originating a civilization..compared to the tribal Native American cultures present before settlers came. They did tear down civilizations too. And so what if Europe was close to Asia? That doesn't change the fact that Europe was still way more advanced and civilized than the Americas before colonization.
@AguilaComandanteDGO I'm damn sure Europe has always been better than Mexico..and I'm not even European..or white. Oh, and it looks like those Europeans created a pretty good country compared to Mexicans.
And compared to the New World in the 17th Century, Europe probably seemed damn nice..you know..since it was actually developed? And not still essentially in the fucking Stone Age?
even when these parts belonged to mexico there was hardly a mexican to be seen... and natives hated mexicans check it, apaches, and commanches were keepin you wetbacks from coming north... until the white man came... mexicans or azteks whatever you call yourselves were never indiginous to these parts so get the fuck out!!! fuck you all
this guys an idiot, this isnt Mexico becuz here we dont have to pay off cops to protect us,we have running water, the poorest of the poor dont live in cardboard shacks, and most importantly equal opportunities for everyone that is a legal resident.I sure as hell dont wanta make this Mexico
yeah deport the mexicans we are dumb americans and dont know shit about economy!!!!!yei,,, without the mexicans our economy would be sunk to shit but it doesnt matter as long as they leave!!!!!yei
u wankers need some lessons in society and economy before making us leave.
ps. we dont need to recover the lands lost with war.....we are already doing it peacefully hahahah anyways u cant deport 12 million mexicans hahahaha so ull just have to suck it
Guess what? Spain conquered/claimed the land from Native Americans through force. Mexico took the land from Spain through force. The US took the land from Mexico through force. EVERYONE took the land in the same matter, THROUGH FORCE. Simple logic says that the land will either permanently belong to its original owners or will continuously transfer to the next owner; possession will not simply stop in the middle because the uneducated want it to.
Do you really believe that the legal hispanic Americans want to become apart of mexico? They are smarter, educated, and see what goes on in mexico. They relish the freedoms provided in the united states constitution. Hispanic American's may love their heritage, but that does not mean they want to crawl back into the sewer that mexico has become.
Actually it was part of mexico. Emperor Agustín I of Mexico gave permission to Austin and Houston to bring americans to the northern territories of mexico under these conditions; 1) to free their black slaves (slavery was illigal in mexico) 2) to convert to catholisism (obbligated religion in mexico). Instead, they started the so called texas revolution with the help of the usa, proclamed a republic and later joined USA. That triggered the mexivan american war years later.
Alberto Lozano is completely right. Remember how Texas became part of America when whites under Houston and Austin leadership became the majority. Now the opposite is taking place and whites are discriminated in America even by their own Government of color. So it is inevitable that the American Southwest will go reunify with MEXICO sooner rather than later. America is not part of the West anymore.
@trokoro This idiot needs to study American law.No State can vote to leave the Union. That would be against the Constitution. Also doesnt this guy have an explaination for the Spainish obliterating the heritage of the Incas and the Aztecs-to name a few? Also the Tribal nations of the Southwest never surrenderd to Spain or Mexico.Only part of Texas was controlled by Mexico. The rest was Comanche.
If California becomes part of Mexico again, will the Mexicans that came here to get out of Mexico try to leave again? That'd be f*cked up for them. They'd be like "I escaped Mexico to come to the United States, and now I'm back in Mexico!"
Report and Deport, all the illegals cry "we come here to work and make a better life" No you illegal taco bender you come here for a free ride. You cannot even make a life for yourselves in Mexico, so your lazy, uneducated criminal population migrates north to America. You beg for Amnesty... YOU BROKE THE LAW, when you migrated here ILLEGALLY. You should be forced to work in a labor camp to repay your debt "work brings freedom" lol.
i dont have anything against people of other race however, i tend to get a bit dissapointed and mad when i see people like you talking trash. Dude get a life. I am educated and worked to defend this country but i will think twice about doing anything about people like you.. im not angry at you just dissapointed. :(
get your anchoir baby to read you a history book, after all am paying for free schooling with my taxes, your people are sheep, we took your land, and its part of the united states, so go home,
you seriously need to shut your mouth and open a book. "We white folks" bought our land from Mexico for $15 million dollars several years after the end of the 1848 war with them (which they fired the first shot). We purchased another 29,000+ square miles in 1854 (The Gadsden Purchase) for another $10 million dollars. Not to mention that "we white folks" forgave their $4 million dollar debt to us from 1828. Don't choke on your idiot pie.
Actually, is wasn't. The American government paid $15 million dollars for it in the 1850's as a settlement deal to the Mexican government after the Mexican-American War of 1846 to 1848. Then another 29,000+ square miles (in that area) were purchased in June of 1853 (The Gadsden Purchase) for $10 million. We also forgave Mexico's War of Independence debt to us which was approximately $3.8 million. How, again, was it "stolen"?
Stolen because it's pennies ont he dollar through land. It was "manifest destiny" that fueled the idea of the west being part of the US. Mexico lost a war, that is why half it's territory was incorporated into the US. IF someone put a gun to your forhead and said give me your car for $5 dollars you'd have no choice to do so. A crude analogy but you get the jist. Learn your history.
@chandlerswatch619 look yo, when slavery ended in mexico the anglos still wanted it so they succeeded because they were racist fucks that just wanted slaves.
"Their land"? Spain conquered Mexico and expanded into what is now the US... this man is not likely an indigenous American, whether from US or Mexico.
Talking about dying (referring to the NumbNutz), TWO, not ONE, TWO amnesties were killed in Congress last year. Illegals, can wish all they want. It is not their country, never will be again. They can march and demand, but in the end, WHO CAN DEPORT WHO?
HEY i think this man speaks the truth when he says this is Mexico and will be Mexico again that's not racist when people interpretative on a bad way it looks bad , but i think is the truth why because it is happening just look at the cities that are changing like , LosAngeles,Chicago,a small town on the south of Virginia manassas and many more other places, I think is good because we are the new Americans me personalty I'm born in California which some people called me anchor baby bu its cool
Shouldn't the people of Mexico be working to solve the problems in their own country instead of running away and creating new one's in a different country?
It's THIS country that's causing many of the problems. NAFTA opens the borders for the subsidized import of corn, sugar, milk, etc. from America, tax free. That causes a labor crisis in rural Mexico because those farmers who were perfectly happy where they were, can no longer compete. It's either go work for the big American company (AT 5 MEASLY FUCKING DOLLARS A DAY, BY THE WAY) or STARVE. What would you?? Stay home & fix it? How? Enlighten us all, please.
People need to accept some personal accountability. I understand everyone is doing what the have to do to survive. If my ancestors (possibly yours) had just said "fuck this" and left the country they were trying to create back in the 16 and 1700's then the United States wouldn't even exist. These immigrants need to choose which country they will call home. I never proposed how to fix it, NumbNutz. I simply stated that a people who claim to be so proud of their home country need to improve it.
Well, it's not like all Mexicans are just abandoning their country. Most of them are still there giving what they have to give to their home country. But those people who are so pissed off about the influx of Mexicans into America need to realize that America has set itself up for it by making emigrating here economically essential.

All American citizens need to start voting and these problems will go away quicker than we think. That's our solution. As far as the Mexicans, they need to find their own solutions. Unlike my government, I don't think we need to be policing and solving the rest of the world's problems. Down with NAFTA. I'm doing my part here in Texas by voting. Do yours. Feel enlightened?
Not really. It's a better answer than your first post, but "Do your duty and vote" is hardly enlightening. They ARE finding their own solutions, by the way. They're coming to America, earning money, and sending it home. If America wasn't exploiting Mexico's agricultural industry, they wouldn't have to do that.
The enlightenment part was some sarcasm but the answer is simple and undeniable. You need to start voting. I hate to pass judgement but I'd be surprised if you've ever voted. If more people started taking a vested interest in what their Governments do all over the world and actually do something then problems like these would disappear. But, in the end you can't have a massive influx of people into a system over a short period of time. This isn't necessarily about race, it's about logistics.
START voting? You mean KEEP voting. I'm a lot more politically active than you're assuming, thank you very much. I gotta tell ya, I'm pretty discouraged because things haven't just magically changed like you're saying they should. To the logistics point, see my comment about profit. There's your logistics. The logistics of exploitation and "profit at all costs" aren't difficult to figure out. Unfortunately for Mexico, voting is a great mechanism to make profit in America.
AND, They're not just making money and sending it home, they're helping America by doing here what they can't do in Mexico: build and support a healthy agricultural industry. America profits, which is why they've looked the other way for so long regarding the border issue. That's an American mantra: "If you profit from it, look the other way." Talk about owning up. If America wanted their borders secure, they'd be secure. They DONT, because they're profiting from the exploitation of Mexico.
It's corporations that don't care about national security or the borders. They just want an environment for making the most money, which is basically what you said. I think the majority of average citizens don't want illegal immigrants flooding our country regardless of where they come from. They may be providing a valid service but it is driving up costs for us such as insurance and health care among other things. I'll keep voting, but it takes more than two of us.
You ackowledge that it's an economic issue, and that it's American companies (and the humans behind those companies) that are the culprits. But nobody acknowledges that Mexico is being RAPED. That the Mexican people are NOT criminals but instead the victims of a much bigger crime, that they're NOT just stealing, they're not the freeloading scum of the earth, that THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR COUNTRY... It's a DAMN SHAME that nobody else in America seems to see the real truth about this issue.
That's such a typical American answer, by the way. "They're driving up costs for us". Yeah, well they're risking thier lives, leaving their homes and families behind, they're working in jobs that no American ever would -- to survive. Pay what they pay and I might listen to your sad story about high costs. Until then, please spare me.
You are just looking to pick a fight and conveniently assuming that what I'm saying is arrogant and self centered when in fact every response you have given has been just that. Mexicans can worry about themselves. If you happened to miss my answer previously I stated that I think the US should stay out of other countries affairs as much as possible. Mexicans are being raped and so are US citizens. It is economic and a welfare issue. I have two friends that have been hit and run by illegals.
Like you conveniently assumed that I don't vote, right? Arrogant and self centered like your "Remember the Alamo" comment? I believe the pot is now calling the kettle black. Mexicans can worry about themselves - I got a chuckle from that. You'd better start worrying about them too - they're infiltrating your city, your state, your whole country.
By the way, WTF does "I have two friends that have been hit and run by illegals." have to do with anything?? My friend Dan was killed by a fat, drunk American asshole who left the scene. Newsflash: Americans do it too, but drunk.
Your own biggoted responses grow boring and tiresome. I'm well aware of the facts so their's no need to repeat them to inflate your own ego. Also, the economic burden caused by illegal immigrants is shouldered by my parents, my friends and myself. I live happily enough but I don't like to see people I care about unneccessarily burdened by something that my Government can stop. You can tell me what these illegals do that's good but there are a hundred other reasons they shouldn't be here.
RIGHT. I'm just like you. I don't like to see the people that I care about unneccessarily burdened by something that my government can stop either. You call me a bigot, but my points have nothing to do with race - they have to do with an entire country of people being exploited. My point wasn't about how America is benefiting -- it was that America has ignored the border issue because of money. Apparently you DO need me to repeat facts to you because you're obviously missing the point.
Well, if someone comes over the border into land that was originally Mexicos, for a better life, then its their right as human beings to try and have the most comftorble life possible. Of course, some people dont care about this and see Mexicans as honourles greedy people, when in reality its the people that hate the illegals that are honourless and greedy.
First, this land was never "originally" Mexico's...it was Spain's and we "honourles" and greedy helped finance Mexico's war of independence. Second, the United States PAID for this land after Mexico started a war with us by killing Americans in Texas on OUR land. We subsuquently kicked Mexico's ass all the way to Mexico City in 1848, and then gave all of that land back up to the current border. Who, again, is honorless and greedy?
The Mexican people were the indigenous peoples of America, so it was theirs firts, before Spains. Texas has been Mexicos since Texans moved in and decided to claim its Independence from Mexico; This all after Mexico allowed American Families to migrate into the MEXICAN territory or Tejas, as long as the Immigrants pledged to be loyal to Mexico. The immigrants into Texas decided to Rebel once certain laws came into play in Mexico, such as the Abolishment of Slavery. I dont have enough charecters
Two questions then...(1) Why is it so unreal that we ask your allegiance to America then, when Mexico did the same to us? (2) Should we not then learn from Mexico's mistake and kick all of your asses back to Mexico City?
You are apparently ignorant to the culture in Mexico. Mexicans value lighter skin. Indigenous indians have the darker complexions and are considered second class citizens. Care to explain Mexico's inherent racism?
1) Well, Mexicans would not be so pissed if this land wasnt theirs first before it was stolen, Mexicans in land that was originally of the US would probably not be so pissed. 2)Like I said before, this was Mexicos land first, and doing that, I garentee you, would lead to disaster across the US, with not only uprisings, but the economy would suffer greatly.
I used to live in Mexico, I know how the culture is, I am dark skinned, I have never felt discriminized in Mexico.
Ah, I am beginning to understand the dynamic at play here. Thank you robertanthonyluna for talking with me. Let me see if I have this right...Mexicans = Aztecas = Aztlan! This is why you believe that Mexicans were the indigenous people. So the Spanish conquering the indians is just a side note to Mexico's history and wasn't what directly led to Mexico's creation....interesting.
The Mexican people still identify themselves as indigenous, even though most of them now have forced Spanish blood in their veins through rape. There are different numbers from 39% to 13 % on how many of the people are still pure blooded indigenous. So yes, Spain had a HUGE impact on this, but I dont see how that plays in here.
Spain plays a part in everything related to what Mexico is today. If Spain and France had not been driven out then there would be no Mexico. Once Mexico became its own entity it did not properly listen to the needs of its citizens, as is the case today. That is the reason that Texas and the Western U.S. is not Mexico. It wasn't stolen, Mexico simply lost it due to negligence and arrogance.
and to both your points, 85-90% of the racial makup of Mexicans/Mexican Americans have some amount of Spanish/European blood in them. So infact Mexicans are of both sides, the indigenous and the conquistadores. So yes, you can say spain had an influence, but those same spaniards you speak of are the ancestors of the current population of Mexico as are the natives.
Even years before the Texas Revolution the majority of the population was white. In 1834 an estimated 30,000 Anglos lived in Texas compared to 7800 of Spanish Heritage.
Don't invent history to support your claims. Somehow I think that the real Mayans and Aztecs would be insulted to be called "Mexicans" or to be affiliated with any government for that matter. Also, Texans became upset with Mexico because of No freedom of religion, the quality of troops sent to protect them from the indians and also Mexico's anti-immigration and anti-trade policies aimed at the whites living in Texas. Slavery played no part in the Texas Revolution against Mexico.
You're missing the central argument of this debate. The problem is that any group who mass immigrates into any established system/country puts a tremendous strain on the operation of that system. What that means is that regardless of who it is, there is a reason governments have laws controlling immigration. It is for the protection of its citizens and their well being. Illegal immigration undermines and insults everyone who followed this process properly.
NAFTA has ruined small Mexican farmers who couldn't compete with big US agribusinesses corn imports. The same with small Mexican businesses--I know of 2 first hand. That caused an increase of illegal immigration too.
I agree. I wish we could get a President and some Congressmen elected who would repeal that crap. I don't understand what was broke that they were trying to fix in the first place other than their bank accounts not being fat enough.
Your original post confirms that you have no idea what the facts are. This is the most ignorant, arrogant, self-centered question you could possibly pose about this issue. if I'm a bigot, you're a hypocrite.
Sorry for seeming irritated and frustrated, but I am. It seems that everybody just says Mexicans are dirty lowlife freeloading scum that have no pride, no morals, no respect. Nothing could be further from the truth, but unfortunately bigotry and racism block the truth. All I see here are a bunch of shallow, uneducated, generalized responses - nobody acknowledges that America is partly to blame for this whole mess. You're the only one who has attempted to talk intelligently, and I appreciate it.
Well I'm all for securing the border and enforcing immigration laws, that whole "go back to your third world country" seemed unnecessary to me. The Consulate didn't look like he was provoking anybody or looking for a fight. Nevertheless, the "it's ours and will be again" comment is ridiculous. It's just not gonna happen-at least not politically.
I've got news for you. They already have. L.A. was an easy mark though, since it's stocked with 60's draft dodging liberal kool aid drinkers. They're the first ones who will be marched to their deaths by the Mexican death squads. Ethnic cleansing of blacks is already underway by the Mexican gangs in L.A. Maybe they'll wake up in time to join the scourge on their people. In Mexico, the darker the skin, the more oppressed you are. Illegals from Mexico openly target blacks.
There is a longer version at our site where he calls us "assholes" and other choice words when he arrived at the consulate down the sidewalk. This punk provoked the MM, but they stayed calm and then he told us this (San Diego) was Mexico. The reconquistas boldly say it all the time here in Mexifornia. Wake up! Mexico declared war on the U.S. years ago, we just didn't take them seriously.
Of course not. The reconquista commies control the mainstream big 3 media and print media, with some exceptions. It's textbook, right outta Chairman Mao and Ho Chi Minh. You and I must be weapons of mass instruction. Be a Johnny Appleseed for thoughts.
You guys provoked him with all your insults. Stop acting like elementary school children. He said something deliberately to piss you off because he knew it would push your buttons...which it did.
God bless you sister. We must all do as Paul Revere and figuratively ride tall proclaiming "The Mexicans are Coming!!" We, as a nation, have forgotten how bad we bloodied them in the last war. It is their intention to get even, and I look forward to the coming conflict. When we have to take to the streets to protect ourselves due to the government and the police leaving us to twist, when the militant Mexicans have so infiltrated our police and local governments that we must fight, then it's on!
there is a longer vid of this incident on sdmm's page. There have been other conversations with this consul that have been less than respectful. The Minutemen were just answering in kind. On a certain level though, you might be half right. Mr. Lozano saw an opportunity to take a shot at people he didn't agree with. Is this acceptable conduct from a Mexican government representative? I think not.
I have nothing against the way people look, but fuck mexico. Its stupid to pay homage to anywhere but the country you live in today and now. Fuck the past and fuck ancestors there is a reason a person leaves their country because its was a shit hole. Pls people don't be traitors.

America is not part of the West anymore.

you seriously need to shut your mouth and open a book.

Well, Texas was stolen from Mexico.
robertanthonyluna 3 years ago
Actually, is wasn't. The American government paid $15 million dollars for it in the 1850's as a settlement deal to the Mexican government after the Mexican-American War of 1846 to 1848. Then another 29,000+ square miles (in that area) were purchased in June of 1853 (The Gadsden Purchase) for $10 million. We also forgave Mexico's War of Independence debt to us which was approximately $3.8 million. How, again, was it "stolen"?
chandlerswatch619 3 years ago 2
Stolen because it's pennies ont he dollar through land. It was "manifest destiny" that fueled the idea of the west being part of the US. Mexico lost a war, that is why half it's territory was incorporated into the US. IF someone put a gun to your forhead and said give me your car for $5 dollars you'd have no choice to do so. A crude analogy but you get the jist. Learn your history.

Shouldn't the people of Mexico be working to solve the problems in their own country instead of running away and creating new one's in a different country?
m0rbidh0rr0r 3 years ago
It's THIS country that's causing many of the problems. NAFTA opens the borders for the subsidized import of corn, sugar, milk, etc. from America, tax free. That causes a labor crisis in rural Mexico because those farmers who were perfectly happy where they were, can no longer compete. It's either go work for the big American company (AT 5 MEASLY FUCKING DOLLARS A DAY, BY THE WAY) or STARVE. What would you?? Stay home & fix it? How? Enlighten us all, please.
NumbNutz12000 3 years ago
People need to accept some personal accountability. I understand everyone is doing what the have to do to survive. If my ancestors (possibly yours) had just said "fuck this" and left the country they were trying to create back in the 16 and 1700's then the United States wouldn't even exist. These immigrants need to choose which country they will call home. I never proposed how to fix it, NumbNutz. I simply stated that a people who claim to be so proud of their home country need to improve it.
m0rbidh0rr0r 3 years ago
Well, it's not like all Mexicans are just abandoning their country. Most of them are still there giving what they have to give to their home country. But those people who are so pissed off about the influx of Mexicans into America need to realize that America has set itself up for it by making emigrating here economically essential.
NumbNutz12000 3 years ago

NumbNutz12000 3 years ago
All American citizens need to start voting and these problems will go away quicker than we think. That's our solution. As far as the Mexicans, they need to find their own solutions. Unlike my government, I don't think we need to be policing and solving the rest of the world's problems. Down with NAFTA. I'm doing my part here in Texas by voting. Do yours. Feel enlightened?
m0rbidh0rr0r 3 years ago
Not really. It's a better answer than your first post, but "Do your duty and vote" is hardly enlightening. They ARE finding their own solutions, by the way. They're coming to America, earning money, and sending it home. If America wasn't exploiting Mexico's agricultural industry, they wouldn't have to do that.
NumbNutz12000 3 years ago
The enlightenment part was some sarcasm but the answer is simple and undeniable. You need to start voting. I hate to pass judgement but I'd be surprised if you've ever voted. If more people started taking a vested interest in what their Governments do all over the world and actually do something then problems like these would disappear. But, in the end you can't have a massive influx of people into a system over a short period of time. This isn't necessarily about race, it's about logistics.
m0rbidh0rr0r 3 years ago
START voting? You mean KEEP voting. I'm a lot more politically active than you're assuming, thank you very much. I gotta tell ya, I'm pretty discouraged because things haven't just magically changed like you're saying they should. To the logistics point, see my comment about profit. There's your logistics. The logistics of exploitation and "profit at all costs" aren't difficult to figure out. Unfortunately for Mexico, voting is a great mechanism to make profit in America.
NumbNutz12000 3 years ago
AND, They're not just making money and sending it home, they're helping America by doing here what they can't do in Mexico: build and support a healthy agricultural industry. America profits, which is why they've looked the other way for so long regarding the border issue. That's an American mantra: "If you profit from it, look the other way." Talk about owning up. If America wanted their borders secure, they'd be secure. They DONT, because they're profiting from the exploitation of Mexico.
NumbNutz12000 3 years ago
It's corporations that don't care about national security or the borders. They just want an environment for making the most money, which is basically what you said. I think the majority of average citizens don't want illegal immigrants flooding our country regardless of where they come from. They may be providing a valid service but it is driving up costs for us such as insurance and health care among other things. I'll keep voting, but it takes more than two of us.
m0rbidh0rr0r 3 years ago
You ackowledge that it's an economic issue, and that it's American companies (and the humans behind those companies) that are the culprits. But nobody acknowledges that Mexico is being RAPED. That the Mexican people are NOT criminals but instead the victims of a much bigger crime, that they're NOT just stealing, they're not the freeloading scum of the earth, that THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR COUNTRY... It's a DAMN SHAME that nobody else in America seems to see the real truth about this issue.
NumbNutz12000 3 years ago
That's such a typical American answer, by the way. "They're driving up costs for us". Yeah, well they're risking thier lives, leaving their homes and families behind, they're working in jobs that no American ever would -- to survive. Pay what they pay and I might listen to your sad story about high costs. Until then, please spare me.
NumbNutz12000 3 years ago
You are just looking to pick a fight and conveniently assuming that what I'm saying is arrogant and self centered when in fact every response you have given has been just that. Mexicans can worry about themselves. If you happened to miss my answer previously I stated that I think the US should stay out of other countries affairs as much as possible. Mexicans are being raped and so are US citizens. It is economic and a welfare issue. I have two friends that have been hit and run by illegals.
m0rbidh0rr0r 3 years ago
Like you conveniently assumed that I don't vote, right? Arrogant and self centered like your "Remember the Alamo" comment? I believe the pot is now calling the kettle black. Mexicans can worry about themselves - I got a chuckle from that. You'd better start worrying about them too - they're infiltrating your city, your state, your whole country.
NumbNutz12000 3 years ago
By the way, WTF does "I have two friends that have been hit and run by illegals." have to do with anything?? My friend Dan was killed by a fat, drunk American asshole who left the scene. Newsflash: Americans do it too, but drunk.
NumbNutz12000 3 years ago
Your own biggoted responses grow boring and tiresome. I'm well aware of the facts so their's no need to repeat them to inflate your own ego. Also, the economic burden caused by illegal immigrants is shouldered by my parents, my friends and myself. I live happily enough but I don't like to see people I care about unneccessarily burdened by something that my Government can stop. You can tell me what these illegals do that's good but there are a hundred other reasons they shouldn't be here.
m0rbidh0rr0r 3 years ago
NumbNutz12000 3 years ago
Well, if someone comes over the border into land that was originally Mexicos, for a better life, then its their right as human beings to try and have the most comftorble life possible. Of course, some people dont care about this and see Mexicans as honourles greedy people, when in reality its the people that hate the illegals that are honourless and greedy.
robertanthonyluna 3 years ago
First, this land was never "originally" Mexico's...it was Spain's and we "honourles" and greedy helped finance Mexico's war of independence. Second, the United States PAID for this land after Mexico started a war with us by killing Americans in Texas on OUR land. We subsuquently kicked Mexico's ass all the way to Mexico City in 1848, and then gave all of that land back up to the current border. Who, again, is honorless and greedy?
chandlerswatch619 3 years ago
The Mexican people were the indigenous peoples of America, so it was theirs firts, before Spains. Texas has been Mexicos since Texans moved in and decided to claim its Independence from Mexico; This all after Mexico allowed American Families to migrate into the MEXICAN territory or Tejas, as long as the Immigrants pledged to be loyal to Mexico. The immigrants into Texas decided to Rebel once certain laws came into play in Mexico, such as the Abolishment of Slavery. I dont have enough charecters
robertanthonyluna 3 years ago
Two questions then...(1) Why is it so unreal that we ask your allegiance to America then, when Mexico did the same to us? (2) Should we not then learn from Mexico's mistake and kick all of your asses back to Mexico City?
You are apparently ignorant to the culture in Mexico. Mexicans value lighter skin. Indigenous indians have the darker complexions and are considered second class citizens. Care to explain Mexico's inherent racism?
chandlerswatch619 3 years ago
1) Well, Mexicans would not be so pissed if this land wasnt theirs first before it was stolen, Mexicans in land that was originally of the US would probably not be so pissed. 2)Like I said before, this was Mexicos land first, and doing that, I garentee you, would lead to disaster across the US, with not only uprisings, but the economy would suffer greatly.
I used to live in Mexico, I know how the culture is, I am dark skinned, I have never felt discriminized in Mexico.
robertanthonyluna 3 years ago
Ah, I am beginning to understand the dynamic at play here. Thank you robertanthonyluna for talking with me. Let me see if I have this right...Mexicans = Aztecas = Aztlan! This is why you believe that Mexicans were the indigenous people. So the Spanish conquering the indians is just a side note to Mexico's history and wasn't what directly led to Mexico's creation....interesting.
chandlerswatch619 3 years ago
The Mexican people still identify themselves as indigenous, even though most of them now have forced Spanish blood in their veins through rape. There are different numbers from 39% to 13 % on how many of the people are still pure blooded indigenous. So yes, Spain had a HUGE impact on this, but I dont see how that plays in here.
robertanthonyluna 3 years ago
Spain plays a part in everything related to what Mexico is today. If Spain and France had not been driven out then there would be no Mexico. Once Mexico became its own entity it did not properly listen to the needs of its citizens, as is the case today. That is the reason that Texas and the Western U.S. is not Mexico. It wasn't stolen, Mexico simply lost it due to negligence and arrogance.
m0rbidh0rr0r 3 years ago
and to both your points, 85-90% of the racial makup of Mexicans/Mexican Americans have some amount of Spanish/European blood in them. So infact Mexicans are of both sides, the indigenous and the conquistadores. So yes, you can say spain had an influence, but those same spaniards you speak of are the ancestors of the current population of Mexico as are the natives.
DeliriousBuddha 3 years ago
Even years before the Texas Revolution the majority of the population was white. In 1834 an estimated 30,000 Anglos lived in Texas compared to 7800 of Spanish Heritage.
m0rbidh0rr0r 3 years ago
Don't invent history to support your claims. Somehow I think that the real Mayans and Aztecs would be insulted to be called "Mexicans" or to be affiliated with any government for that matter. Also, Texans became upset with Mexico because of No freedom of religion, the quality of troops sent to protect them from the indians and also Mexico's anti-immigration and anti-trade policies aimed at the whites living in Texas. Slavery played no part in the Texas Revolution against Mexico.
m0rbidh0rr0r 3 years ago
You're missing the central argument of this debate. The problem is that any group who mass immigrates into any established system/country puts a tremendous strain on the operation of that system. What that means is that regardless of who it is, there is a reason governments have laws controlling immigration. It is for the protection of its citizens and their well being. Illegal immigration undermines and insults everyone who followed this process properly.
m0rbidh0rr0r 3 years ago
NAFTA has ruined small Mexican farmers who couldn't compete with big US agribusinesses corn imports. The same with small Mexican businesses--I know of 2 first hand. That caused an increase of illegal immigration too.
russelelane 3 years ago 4

NumbNutz12000 3 years ago
Sorry for seeming irritated and frustrated, but I am. It seems that everybody just says Mexicans are dirty lowlife freeloading scum that have no pride, no morals, no respect.
