  • lol "i dont care if its got the red ring of death this things gonna get the range rover of death"

  • good old frankston! center of the universe lol. good if your a druggo or in search of a skank but not allot else lol. as you know i dont live far from there and go to school there and i really hate to tell people i live anywhere near the place.

    bahahaha

  • Stay away from those Chinese tyres, they are dangerous!, Contact cleaner'll fix that rangie good, LOL, Xbox Flattening that'll make a good vid

  • @HDXFH yeh chinese tires are horrid, I'll never use them on my cars.

I'll put the X-Box vid up soon :D

  • xbox SUCKS smash it

  • @naterade21 I've seen some good games on X-Box at friends places, but even they have swapped to PS3 now.

  • yea to run the xbox 360 you need to get the power pack for it.

  • The Range Rover definitely sounds better after you cleaned that connection. The dropouts could just be the need for a complete tune up. Plugs, cap, rotor, wires, the works. You might change the ignition coil too as it could be getting weak. Some fresh gasoline with a can of fuel injector cleaner added might help a lot too. Of course getting her out on the highway to blow the cobs out of her might help the most. Will be looking forward to that vid. :)

  • @brislo yeh idle is too low now so its dropping out once the engine RPM drops below a certain level

that and the ignition gear is sad. although the coil makes a good 20mm of spark so it should be okay.

  • What year is your RR Aussie50? I'm guessing 95-96.. I used to work on them when they were newish in that era, a real nice car to own eh..

  • @locouk nah, 95 - 96 was the P38a, a much nicer drive but still plagued with problems, and not as easy to repair as this one.

I would only buy a low-mile well documented example (2000 model is still a $12,000 car)

  • I love how that thing sounds just like my dad's old 1978 F-150. Really great memories in that thing that the sound from your range rover brings back.

  • @FelixTheHouseFreak its a slightly different tone to what i remember the Fords being, but you are right! it sounds just like a small block V8 should!

  • You could use a power steering pump from a Jag in it; not to much different.

  • @douro20 yep!, it looks like a Saginaw or Jag pump, i guess their both the same anyway/

  • I would personally like to get a Canon L2 and a Hi-8 VTR to go with it. Great pieces of equipment; the L-series camcorders were Canon's first foray into professional video equipment.

  • i wana see xbox3600 vs mot if you dont do it i will lol

  • @ENGINEBLOWUK its already a bit dented but I could try later.

  • @Aussie50 cool do plz will smoke a lot im thinking lol call the vid how to over clock your xbox360

  • cool. you and tyres dont mix.lol i think your RR just need a jar of smoke and it will run good.. if your batt is low it will idle bad because the alt is not putting out the right power. thats normal what the brakes do to the engine.

  • @V8Jagnut lol I just hasn't changed it since we ran that computer and stuff over!. I want a 1.5" lift kit and 265/70/16's :D

good to know about the brake booster tho, my BM doesn't do it.

  • Xboxes have a huge, six-phase, fan-cooled power supply. So yeah, not a normal kettle lead :P Decent heatpipe heatsinks, though, I'd get them out before you crush it.

  • @sheps999 wow, huge PSU!.

lol too late for the heat-sinks ;). I can make my own if I need them.

  • How much do you want for that Hyundai throttle position sensor? Those engines are actually pretty damn good to be honest, I like them.

  • @Dauntless244 well, me and Mr.scrap metal could do with some more beer. how does $25 posted in Aus sound?

the long blocks are pretty good, they only fail if thrashed, neglected or cooked.

  • @Aussie50

Yeah they're nothing special but they're very reliable and make decent power for a cheap 1.5.

$25 sounds fine. Possibly interested in the hall sensor too, now you mention it.

  • @Dauntless244 Cool, not too sure exactl what the cam shaft sensor is but I can have the pair shipped Aus wide for $40 if you want.

  • i think i saw a Hyundai ac unit probably had more power than that engine lol btw when you cut it open its powered by mice 1 for every cylinder lol

  • @ENGINEBLOWUK lol I always though it was Gerbils ;)

  • @Aussie50 if you catch one when you cut it open we will find out lol o but its Hyundai they give you mice with health problems lol o and the bit where you said it had compression was mice or Gerbils getting squished lol btw keep up the good work

  • @ENGINEBLOWUK aww, but is I squish them it won't work again :(

  • @Aussie50 there already dead you checking or trying to check comp squished the mice between the cylinder head and the thing Hyundai say is a piston it doesn't do a dam thing the (piston ) is just to cover up the fact the engine is powered by mice lmfao no but rly i was fixing a b7s 10hp when to check the air filter and the dam thing had a mouse nest in it lol was a Briggs 7hp ride on mower

  • @ENGINEBLOWUK BAHAHAHAHAHAAHHHAAHAHHAAHHAH hyundais are for thoes who cannot walk due to loss of limbs and have no choice

  • @ENGINEBLOWUK ROFLMFAO!
