True, literally. The main mcguffin of the series is "transparent light particles", which convert thought and emotion into energy, power, and force and have a full spectrum all their own. It is a rainbow.
What's wrong with that, man? It was a great anime. This, Dragonball Z, FLCL, Lucky Star, Etc. But this one and DBZ are the top I could think of right now. I love this anime.

When I saw this anime when it first showed I was instantly hooked, love the story, love the characters, love the mecha´s.
This anime is certainly in my top 10 greatest anime of all time.
