I like this song a lot, I loved the teaser video that came before the game came out with the family. I agree the game isn't nearly as sad as that first video made it seem it was going to be. However the video showed some zombies ablaze at the beginning hinting at the games true intente as a hack/slash zombie smashing game. Was a fun game just felt they let the players down with the campaign's ending acts. I do think if you want a really sad heart stringy video game go buy GoW 1-3.

i played dead island.. after i finished it, i saw the trailer.. still blew my mind how good the trailer was.. the game ended pretty abruptly but was still a great game. But lord, i felt for the family so much after i saw the trailer. Knowing the survival story of the game... even though they're obviously fictional, i still felt for them and watched it about 7-10 times whilst bawling to my friends over msn chat. had to force myself to stop watching T_T

A lot of people don't feel this song fits with the actual game, but I personally feel that Dead Island, despite having a somewhat lighthearted tone at points, is a masterpiece that really tugs at my heartstrings for whatever reason, especially in Moresby, and that this song accompanies it like nothing before it. Many people say that Dead Island is not a good game...and I will never understand that.

That aside, there are many NPCs in the game that have arguably realistic issues to deal with and when you consider tracks like this I would understand being emotionally attached to it.

@AidanAlva I think people say Dead Island isn't a good game because the Trailer set up impossible expectations and also the trailer made everyone think we were getting a realistic zombie survival game as oppose to Dead Rising 2 meets Left 4 Dead 2 complete with wacky weapon designs. I have not played Dead Island but I'm sure if it wasn't for the trailer the game would have been received better by it's 'fan base'
