  • thanks Broken Flowers !!

  • originally, it's nether a mulatu's song nor a jay-z song but one of the greatest ethiopian singer deceased during the early seventie's, SEYFU YOHANNES.

please, listen to the his songs. you'll discovered something really amazing.

  • @jneberhardt Just for yr info..Mr Mulatu Astatke did this ..some years ago..in the 70thies..where Jay-z was't still born.. Just for yr info

  • In a way he kinda looks like Gandhi here... Great job.

  • Lovely track and lovely portrait.

  • ETHIOPIQUES I gotta dig up that album.. nice post thanks

  • broken flower thats right!

my favourite song by Mulatu is:

Ene Alantchi Alnorem (I can't live without you)

its the most relaxing cool jazz song ever with the sound of the wind in the background. There is this mesmerizing impro middle part that just sends you away into some forgotten mystical desert world!

  • one of mulatu's dinq sira! this was one of the instrumental music played in Bill Murray's film the broken flower. what a brilliant man! god bless u mulle!

  • I agree with you bizuye...He is great, and I don't think I can ever get enough of his works.

    Cheers!
