Those guys have done a just fantastic job. I had 325i in that shape, I loved it, ran like on rails.The rear end of that old 3 series really is beautiful. My 540i, although faster, is simply no fun to drive at all. That old 3 series with a V10 would be just great... might just think about that some day. Would also be immense fun on the Autobahn!

Beautiful. I'm not a die hard fan of any brand, but i know a good car when i see it. This BMW is great! No fancy, stupid looking, infantile stickers and modifications to the body. Just the classic body of the M3 in pristine condition! And that engine just makes even better. You may even call it a sleeper.

It's like the rally version of the Mercedes 190, such an outstanding classic.

@plutonium9 - I dunno, the E9x is a bit soulless. Too heavy, too technical, the engine note is just brash and blarey and unmusical at high revs, there's no feel to the steering (not helped by an over-thick wheel)... it's not the best M3 ever, not by a long way.
