This is soooooo freaking true.... I loved my job but hated the management control. They care so much about their pay based on our sales they find anyway they can to torment us if we to not sell. My job was to offer services, we should not be expected to have sales quotas. The way we are treated is dehumanizing. It is easy for some to say just leave the job but when you have family depending on you, it is hard to walk away from the income.
I laughed when I first saw these videos, but now I think that Rentti has too much free time. Maybe he/she is suspended and waiting on a panel so the union can fight to get his/her job back. More likely, he/she is one of those FMLA abusers that screw things up for all of us. So glad you have a bunch of copy cat morons now. Yes rentiisamoron, some reps suck. However, managers always have and always will suck much harder. Most reps who suck usually do so only because their managers make them hate not only their jobs but their own lives. I regret every second of every day I spent as a rep and the only consolation I can feel for that time in my life is knowing it was a stepping stone to becoming an outside tech where all of my stress disappeared and I started making $90k a year.

Furthermore, people can't just pick up and move and do need money to care for their families. We can't all just get another job. Minimum wage doesn't pay the bills today. What kind of place can you win some of the highest awards one day and be walked out the next? Why should you have to file FMLA every time you have a common cold? Obviously you are NOT a manager and you are a jerk. This company treats the reps like slave pieces of shit and we all know it, but to attack people by name is shitty too. The fact is besides the funny and exaggerated parts of these videos, they are TRUE. This company only cares about the stock price and numbers, not employees or customers. The fact is I would get another job in a second and be happy, but this area is so depressed there's nothing out here.

I had to go on fmla because I was pregnant and they wouldn't give me a day off to go to the doctor and I had so much morning sickness they would not give me a vacation week and I was out 4 days in a row and if I'd been out the 5th day they were going to fire me. One guy lost his voice and couldn't talk, he had to write notes to explain it to his manager. The manager said he "HAD TO TALK TO CUSTOMERS" since that was his "Job Title" and if he couldn't talk that was tough. He had to file fmla too.
Whoever did this is absolutely genius.. This is on point. How about I was having bathroom issues and was told that I had to split my breaks up in 2 7min and 2 8min breaks. what kinda craziness is that.. the LARGEST Telecom co is goin' down and they don't even know it.. This one is scary true. I had to get a Dr to explain that I need to use the bathroom, In other words I DID file a short term disability just to go to the bathroom at work when needed.
