i watched this film hier soir, and today I'm still trying to figure out who could have been filming them... p.s. people pay attention to when the credits roll at the end...
Utterly Brilliant! First time in my life I have been startled by surprise by a scene (and Im a film junkie). After having watched Funny Games, The Pianist and Cache I can declare myself officially a Haneke Fan. I cant wait to get into "The 7th Continent" and the rest of his films, but I am afraid of watching them all and not having anymore Haneke in my life. So Far, in my opinion: Cache 9.8/10, The Pianist 9/10 and Funny Games 8.5/10.
must read this. once u have started there is no turning back. a little 10 year old girl was raped and murdered in 1945. her body was not fund until 1947. then a boy last week read this and did not copy and paste this message. the dead girl appeared in his room haunting him and killed him. if you do not copy and paste this onto 10 videos 30 minutes the dead girl will appear in your room tonight and haunt you and kill you. well you better start to copy and paste to be saved
What a waste of time. I'm a film student and I think this was a terrible film. The occasional 'shock' scenes of the film are the only reason that I continued watching (barely). I'm a huge fan of thrillers, but this was an overall disappointing film.
@MsMoneySterling I watched this film in a script writing class, now what I learned is don't trust the camera and people. A student said after the credits rolled "The film has no middle or end." What he said was funny, but there has to be more discussions about this movie than appraising as a "great" film.
Great film! I don't understand how this "hollywood" correlation got connected to it since it's a French film...I usually associate anything "Hollywood" with American cinema. Also this type of movie isn't for everyone so to each their own, if you liked it great! If not, then you know to avoid films like this. Either way, I had no expectations and went into this film blind and I think if you do the same you will appreciate it more.
I was so disappointed by this movie the first time I saw it. No doubt it was partially because I was led to believe it was something totally different. But after further viewings it gets much better.
Mesmerized by the subtext, baffled by the twists and protagonist's response, I was at first disappointed that all that tension was not neatly wrapped up at the end. On reflection, as a political study of power, injustice, and conscience, the ambiguous ending works well.
@thefriendsociety well, i'm not watching all that hollywood trash, but can you please tell me what it is that you liked on this film, because I still think this is the worst movie ever
Interesting, dark, suspenseful, thought-provoking, brilliant cinematography, fine acting, great twists...What more do you want? One of the best 00's film!
This is one very "testy" video. =p

This trailer show how exactly the movie is going.
All the film is relate me of self lying and pose.
jim199372 1 year ago
Such an immense film...it leaves itself rattling around inside your brain...long after viewing.
I think the above...is why I find Haneke's work so absorbing and fascinating.
This is definitely one of the better 'trailers' for this masterpiece.
