  • so are they playing to pre-recorded vocal tracks? Like Music-Minus-One? THat's kind of cheesy.

  • This song was play during the time when Belle meet Beast for the very first time. In motion picture Beauty and The Beast by Disney.

  • Sirens! This is how they lured ships in (anyone ever read Homer's Odyssey?)...with their beauty and the melody, it's hard for any man not to be drawn in.

  • @andyrooney12 That's exactly what I thought. They are the Sirens!

  • They all remind me of happy little fairies playing harps. ^_^

  • music+magic

  • GREAT! That was absolutely beautiful and inspiring! I can't imagine anyone NOT liking this! Probably a "rap" artist (spelled with a "c".)

  • I felt in love <3 :-)

  • Soooo beautiful-----sounds like I am in the Ocean!

  • beauty and the beast?

  • Am I in heaven yet?

  • the girl in purple has some short ass arms

  • Good performance, compliment!!

  • This is absolutely wonderful...the choir makes me think of the Sirens' song too, or an underwater mermaid/merman choir. I think it makes it totally atmospheric. Beautiful interpretation. I think Saint-Saens would think so, too!

  • but so amaZing. im impressed. i want to learn how to play that kind of magical instrument. nice

  • look like they had a 1:58 minutes orgasm.

  • Ah...this sounds like the opening to Disney's Beauty and the Beast!

  • @Jared7873 No, the opening to Disney's Beauty and the Beast sounds like Saint-Saën's "Aquarium" from Carnival of the Animals!

  • @xtina913 Big difference wiseass.

  • @bonzzo15 I was just making a joke. If you want to take it seriously, that point of the joke was to emphasize that this piece is the one that came first, written in 1886, while the score for Beauty and the Beast written in 1991. So if you were going to compare the works, you would say that this piece sounds like the opening to Beauty and the Beast, not the other way around because Saint-Saëns came first. Is that clear enough for you? People can't take jokes anymore.

  • AMAZING!

  • I was listening to this and my sister was behind me doing her homework then she is like "Omg That's so creepy sounds scary listen to something else!!" D= I didnt wanna so i listened to this song all over again <3

  • Beautiful! You should have all dressed in fairy or elf outfit or something!

  • Did anyone notice all harp players have beauty o-e?

  • ANGELS BEARING LEDGENDs.

  • ancient secrets.

  • facial expressions!!

  • i think i just died and went to heaven ?

  • shame its about double the tempo it should be... otherwise, its excellent.

  • definitely ridiculous !

  • Harpies?

Just give it a few years, believe me.

  • Very intriguing, I can see this being used for a soundtrack in a movie such as Avatar.

  • Yeah.... I had to stop. Something doesn't feel right..

  • QUeste sono le sirene di ULISSE!!!!! :O

  • AMAZING interpretation, great choir arrangement to, yo look like four angels with those harps

  • this would make a grait porno

  • beauty and the beast????

  • I actually loved the choir, is amazing I made me think in mermaids :')

  • thanx MUSICAL MERMAIDS!!!! SIRENS OF THE SEA...... HAUNT MY DREAMS AS ONLY YOU CAN!!

  • WOW!!! i wish i could play like that !!!

  • I think it was perfect with the choir and I love this a ton, I can't remember where I heard this before but it's just plain awesome, thanks for posting. I might have hear this or something like it on a soundtrack I love from the movie "Heaven Can Weight" Someone get me straight, lol Once again awesome.

  • all thats missing is a cup :)

  • This is so great! I love Aquarium and I think the choir gives it a really nice touch <3 Reminds me of sirens singing, really beautiful and eerie <3

  • sounds of haven

  • That was magical, I even teared up a little. What @needmorebeads said is right.

  • Ironic that the name of this band comes from a video of two girls taking a shit then eating the piece of poop and vomiting in their mouths which in turn cause more vomiting.

  • great skills, fuckin horrible tempo without feeling

  • Get a mop

  • TRULY AMAZING!WOW!

  • Fantastical!

    Gave me the chills.

  • i like it,even the tempo. its a dream,discovery description.

marvels, appearing one after the other,in a kind of ecosystem.

  • why rush such beautiful music - you ruined this

  • Hinestly, I like the choir. Keep it up!

  • like sirens

  • Good for you, seaeagle1001. You're onto something.

  • I misspelled "Saint-Saëns." Sorry, Camille.

  • Oh, forgot something. Agree with everyone who found the voiceover chorus tacky ("4 Girls 4 Harps" doesn't include "and prerecorded chorus doing most of the real work for us"). What a tasteless mess.

  • Sorry, but I couldn't stand to watch more than 40 seconds of this. It's absolutely gorgeous music, and you butchered it. It's WAAAY too fast (did somebody need to catch a train?), and all the self-conscious fake smiling and over-the-top "feeling-the-music" nodding up and down makes the whole thing be about the performers, not the music. Ugh. If I were Saint-Säens I'd holler "next contestant!" by about second #10 based on the inexcusable rushing alone.

  • I have never heard music like this, but I like it. Thanks

  • The tempo is a bit fast, but it's really great.

  • massa

  • I thank you so much for the upload

    your talent is great ♥♥

we are glad to see you on our HANG & HARP channel:

    ciferencesymphony

    thanx CIFERENCE-SYMPHONY

  • Outstanding interpretation! In my mind's eye I can envision mermaids and mermen singing, schools of multicolour fish adding harmony and the fabled Sirens calling from shore nearby luring the unsuspecting to the watery depths. If Saint-Seans could heard this rendition, I'd bet he'd be enchanted! Well done ladies! Bravo!! :)

And if anybody's wondering - no I'm not drunk, stoned or tripping out.

  • Brilliant.

  • its pretty unusual to get a group of 4 harpists you are clearly talented! But why oh why did you dollop some badly mixed choir "noises" over the the harps. Its like speding hours making a roast dinner then covering it all with strawberry jam (bad combo)!

  • My favourite piece of music. Never heard it played like this before though.

I love it. And the choir added to it nicely without detracting from the harps.

  • @curtis74200 you're an idiot.

  • or is the harp just that big ?

  • no offense, but are they midget ?

  • I wish they also played my dick like that ;) (0:40)

  • Simply exquisite

  • I'm a composer and I do like the choir!

  • @abirambrizuela thanks for the kind comment - we normally play it without the choir but wanted to experiment, live a little! thanks very much for being nice about it :)

  • Great piece for a Harp.. I loved it guys well done, do think its played waaaayy to fast tho and the melody gets rushed.. love the decending runs tho...and yeah it'd sound better without the choir... you inspired me to play this on my steel string acoustic guitar on my channel now.. :o( only because I cant play a harp or a piano tho :o) ....again well done.

  • Very pretty, love this piece....... but the theatrics & swaying is off putting and completely unnecessary - the one in the purple is just SO OTT

  • Beautiful & well executed

  • this is beautiful but why do they keep looking at each other? a group who is really together doesn't need to see their partners, but to /hear/ them. and their technique needs a little work, and also, parts like 0:42...stop looking at the camera, you need to be focusing on your playing and musicality (both of which you guys did wonderfully, by the way). the choir is nice, the playing is nice, it's just all the heads moving and the looking around that really throws someone off. but ithis is great!

  • @kakashilover5963 you're such an idiot. They're technique is perfect. One of them is internationally renowned and if Marissa Robles thibnks she is talented then I'd shut up.

  • @FreyaDevereux *their

  • Comment removed

  • really good!!! some of you need to work on your posture, especially if your video taping it(: fantastic playing!

  • not four girls, four meremaids.

  • Oh, how I'd love to buy this arrangement! Lovely.

  • again!! why that choir???

  • hi, it's a lovely fishy choir! We have performed it without the choir for a couple of years and wanted to try something new. Sorry you don't like it! We'll have to get some more stuff up on here...did you hear our Ravel Pavane pour une infante defunte, we put strings with that....I hope you like it a bit!

  • @MisforMusic996 the choir is nice :)

  • @MisforMusic996 A year too late. I love the choir, haha. This is amazing music.

  • @MisforMusic996 Slightly eerie feel to this piece, but I like it. I need to get a harp.

  • @MisforMusic996 Ignore comments like this, the choir is GENIUS! :) You sound like magical Sirens trying to infatuate and allure sailors from their way. Gives it an interesting soundtrack-like sound!

  • Good work guys - I loved your CD version but this is even better!
