  • I can't believe this video is 4 years old now. I recently got a digital camcorder so maybe I'll get my shit together and make a better video. This video was with a 5mp picture camera.

  • Nice! I'm gettin a camaro with an ls1 cnt fucking wait! I love cruising

  • @danglesnipecelly13 Sweet !

  • Do you still have this car?

  • @GPVlog Oh yeah, still got it. Don't get to drive it as much as I'd like though, workin' all the time.

  • you got to 115 in 10 sec lol ummm probally not

  • @drozak3207 ummm what's probally ? ummmm are you watching the same video I am ? ummmm I start accelerating at about 41 and back out at about 53. ummm 53-41=12. ummm when I take it to the track I've done 12.8 seconds @113mph. ummm thanks for your comment lol

  • @tkmcfd 12.8? Very nice, but shouldnt you running faster with bolt ons? I couldnt make out the mods besides the word bolt on. What have you done total?

  • my first car was a cadillac eldorado etc 2000. ran 9.46 surprisingly. paid for it in full at 17 years old why mommy and daddy bought little billy and sue brand new mustangs.

then i got a 92 buick riviera paid in full at 19.

traded it in on a 2005 GTO ls2 at 19 years old.

and i traded it in on a 2008 sts v which i currently still have

along with my long anticipated 2002 ws6 which is at 34k miles.

i understand how hard it is to be young and support this passion and i admire you for it.

  • I got my ws6 two years ago... when i was 16. I worked my ass off for it too. Then i kept working to put mods on it. Best decision ever. Cant go wrong with a f body ls1 ;)

  • wow, that sounds nice! and fast too, i love my 01 formula! completely stock and sounds great the way it is :)

  • Why does it sound so killer? open headers?

  • @ZR1Terror Its a LS1

  • Never had it to the strip yet but I hope to like next year or so its getting to cold now. I live in PA so the winters suck ass lol but ill have her out one of these days.

  • Yeah I know what you mean man I have been bored to lol. Thank you by the way it took me sometime to get the money around but I worked for it let me tell you lol. I bought it for 3,500 its a 1995 Trans Am with the LT1 have a ram air intake setup on it 411 rear gears and LS7 hot cam bigger injeters and hooker headers with a full cat back true dual flowmasters. It took a lot of time and money but I love it and it was worth it. Mines not the fastest thing in the world either but it does ok.

  • "if not" I meant to say sorry like if not i understand sorry

  • ok ok I have been thinking sorry for all I said your right Trans Am owners sould not be fighting your right we sould be bashing 5.slow owners and by the way my mom and dad did not by my car I worked hard for it but i did have you saying that coming for acting like an ass sorry can we call a truce? if so I understand.

  • @James551991 ok sounds good. I'm sorry too. I've been bored as of late so an internet argument seemed entertaining, but in the end it's not. Good for you for working hard and getting a Trans Am at 19. I wanted one for the longest time but didn't get one until I was 24.

  • @tkmcfd right on, i bought my ws6 and im 18. every one thinks my "DADDY" bought it for me. not true

but, thats a good cruisin video. cant wait for the winter to be gone.

  • @James551991 actual muscle car owners should be making fun of import n tuner guys cauz they think they better then us (as n muscle cars)

  • I hear 410s dont help much in the top end? How are they working for you?

  • @MarshallTK They seem to work all right for me but I have nothing to compare it to. I only took to the track a few times the first year or two I had it and haven't since. The factory clutch is weak and just about shot in it. I've just been cruising around in it about 1000-1500 miles every year and then store it for the winter. The 10 bolt rear ends are know to be weak in these. I need to do a clutch anyways but if I do any more power increase it's going to need a rearend.

  • @tkmcfd I'm looking at probably 4-5 grand for a good clutch and a moser rear end. And then however much for more power, which would probably be an engine build. I need to win the lottery or something. Priorities suck, lol

  • @tkmcfd Ouch really? Weak rear ends? Id never figure they would be, how much power can they handle safely stock before i need to do a rear end swap. :/

  • @MarshallTK I don't know what the number would be at which the rear end fails. It's been a while since I've read about it since it will be a while until I can do any uprgrades. When I need info I usually go to the forum at LS1.com to get info I need.

  • 115 mph lol ha you where doing about 70-75 around there i would say good try though its stock just face. i get on it my trans am and its going sideways you where not even spining

  • hey i just got a 2000 trans am Firehawk for my 1st car and after my dad got it for me i started lookn into parts to get and i was woundering does the higher number of gear ratio mean more acceration or more speed? like is 4.10 quick off the line bc im look for accelartion bc ill be racing from stop light to stop ligh

  • @StudManbdk if your smart with cars youll remember the phrase "stop turn go" you want your car to be able to handle the power you put in and not be a deathtrap. not trying to be a ass but upgrade the brakes b4 the engine. or at same time. whatev floats your boat lol

  • stock i believe u have a 3.73 ratio so a 4.10 will be more acceleration

  • 3.72*

  • @StudManbdk lol... Stop light to stop light... Watch, you'll prolly have a ticket in a few weeks.

  • @Shaffer2200 will its been about 6 months since i got it and i have yet to get ticket, i did get pulled over a couple times but my grandpa is a judge and the cops knew him so they let me off...lol

  • hey nice T/A. i have a vid of my camaro on canandaigua road too. i live in penfield so i've probably seen you around at the log cabin car show or around town. send me a pm if you ever wanna meet up and cruise.

  • @piccolosan28 I'm sure we've probably passed each other. I usually miss out on the Log Cabin because I'm busy all summer on Wednesday nights. I did make it once a few weeks ago. It was cool and busy because the weather was awesome. The field was full.

  • Nice man. It sounds great

  • @SoCalJohnston Thanks, I love the way it sounds. I wouldn't want it to sound any other way.

  • super nice car man. whats the 0-60 on the auto if you know?

  • 5.2

  • Very nice car man

  • bottom dollar 11k

  • i will sell you mine i got a 01 ws6

  • how much do u want for it?

  • iv been looking to buy an `01 or `02 trans am for the longest time, where the hell can i find one?????

  • craigslist

  • Really nice dude

  • I bet all of you are fuckin stupid. Trans-Am's came 3.42's stock. 4.10's are small gears. The higher the number the more revolutions of the wheel. 4.10's will drop the top speed but make it accelerate faster while dropping to a gear below 3.42 will raise the top speed and slow the acceleration. I wish you cats that commebnt knew what you were talking about rather than just string words together that sound okay.

  • Some T/A's came with 2.73's stock.. Im a sled off the line, but a highway monster..

  • I have a 2001 WS6 TA navy blue metallic with 17k miles...Mint condition

  • 4.10's are optimal for M6's. it has 3.73's stock.

  • 4.10 gears are too big, your losing to much time shifting. I bet your TA would go faster with 3.90 or even 3.73 gears.

  • I love your car. I've wanted a WS6 since I had the money to buy a car, but it cost too much and its hard to get one around here. Check out my Monte, only watch the newest video though, the other ones are all too old.

  • I got to drive one of these today. My nephew's friend needed a truck for the weekend so they traded for the WS6. He hasnt driven a stick in a while and needed a refresher. I was just the person to do it. It was a great car to drive. Gobs of torque and it handles AWESOME!! I went around a right angle corner at 40 MPH and accelerated out of it in second!! Was fun!!!!

  • Is your WS6 Stock, because 12.8 is nice!

  • It's not stock but just bolt ons for now. Hooker long tube headers,3 1/2" Magnaflo exhaust minus cats, SLP lid, Mass air flow sensor,K&N filter, 4.10 gears, Predator tune, some other small things. It's pretty quick for bolt ons. Thanks for the comment :)

  • Hahaha yeah, think you can get some drag racing posted? That would be sweat! You're car's a beast, I'm hoping to get one some day.

  • You might have to turn your volume way up. I had a nice intro and ending but keep forgetting about my 100 meg limit so I cut them out. I've taken it to the track a couple times when I first got it. Did about 12.8 seconds at 113 mph. Hoping to get back to the track this year and change some driving style to see if I can do a little better :)
