my mate has sky for years and suddenly this week wit the rain the signal deteriorated to unwatchable, and now its gone...
checked connectors both ends and the cable and there perfect. im also assuming a sky box wouldn't suddenly break and the dish is tight so im thinkin lnb could be the issue.
if u could confirm that asap it'd be great. also will any replacement lnb fit any sky dish regardless of age or shud i try for d same brand? thnx
@vitormangraviti It sure can, no probs. Asumming you are still going to pick up channels from astra2, you won't have to re-align the dish and can just add the quad lnb to add up to 4 receivers or 2 x twin tuner receivers which may eb the case if you are using a freesat+ box - twin tuner so you can watch and record different channels like a sky+ box. Hi Dave. Is it possible to use this quad LNB and connect a Freesat box and a Sky box (not the Plus one) to the same dish?
I am in the UK and over here we don't have helpful people like yourself. Could you give me some advice about it? Your help would be much appreciated.

why not connect the wire BEFORE slotting lnb into dish? also can wire be secured to dish rod so it doesnt move in the wind and work loose?
