@renancintrasousa179 back when I made this video it wasn't released yet. The XS-13 was going to be easier and most lightly cheaper to find as the XS-01R at the time was getting very hard to find. But it comes down to which you prefer.

@jaileo2008 That's the Soul of Chogokin Spec XS-01R EVA-01 Renewal Version, they're becoming hard to find now. Make sure if you looking to get one it the XS-01R and not the older XS-01 which has a problem with the hips.

@fullyautomated Well, the problem is the XS-01R is becoming harder to find so you'll have some crazy prices out there on ebay. Back when It was originally released it was about $70 before shipping. But I haven't seen this in the shops for awhile so who knows what it will go for.

because all eva figures orevious to these ones had a clear rubbery coat on them

its only purpose is to protect the figure from scratches and the like but also prevents you from painting it

its easyly removeable i removed it with my own finger nails on my old 00 and painted it in rebuild colors

I've been playing around with my Eva-02 "The Beast" and I am really really enjoying it! I am thinking about getting some more and I wanted to know what one of these where your favorite? If you can pick one... Have you gotten Unit-01 Awakening version? I want that one but, it doesn't come with as many accessories with the figure as the normal ones. Also, have you gotten any of the pilots, Rei, Asuka, or Mari? If so how are those kits?

just got my first revoltech today and it came with an assembly borg. The joints on mine are really stiff too, but I realized they aren't real revoltech joints! If you look closely (except for the shoulders), all of the joints are one solid piece, they weren't meant to rotate. So don't even try to loosen them up.

These little limited edition 'Assemble borg's seem to be miniature versions of Revoltech's posable figurines... Basically they are just these blank figures that can interchange parts with each other and strange gun hands/weapons and they have vehicles and things. The premise seems to be for people to create their OWN characters, Via pose or attachments.

Well, from what I've heard a number of people had problems with the initial release of the SPEC Unit 00, so they did a re-issues to upgrade some joints. Other then that it's meant to be the same.

A Revoltech goes for about 2100 Yen (£15), the Chogokin goes for 6500 Yen (£45). But I also pick stuff up on sale. So I don't know the total cost, but it would be a scary number! o_O

Hi Wizartar, I was searching about the XS-13 on the webs, But beside a prototype picture, I didn't found any news. Could you show me a link, or give info on the toy? Like what accessories does it comes with, and do they relase the 02 too? Because I have the old SOul Spec 023, and it's an awesome figure.

My "local anime store" is a single webshop operating in the country and lately I've been heaviliy relying on it in terms of anime figures, because no one else offers them. I had to import all my Microman toys, as well as some Transformers, from HK, Japan and even Malaysia, but it's expensive so I don't do it that often nor can I afford grouping- everytime I do they slam huge custom tax one me...

While i love the new lean look to the eva revoltechs (specifically Unit-02) and the glossy finish (of Unit-03) I dont like the new open mouth on unit 01.

It moves sideways when opened giving Unit 01... an asymetric look wich is very distracting. Last off. these figures are new. What will happen after long periods of time? Perhaps the mouth joint will give out and will not close.
