I like Gordon Ramsey, but if you like to see a great chef , no drama, and actual cooking then Hells Kitchen UK is for you. These people listen to the chef and act on it. In the US version, the morons are incapable to cook risotto six episodes in!!!

the thing with Marco is that because he retired, he did not evolve. Even as a chef he only trained with French chefs in england. Gordon went to France, made it there. I think in their peak, Gordon is the better chef than Marco, but Marco is amazing.

it's an interesting comparison with the HKUSA approach isn;t it? Celebs or non-cooks vs actual or aspiring chefs. I sometimes wonder what Marco would be like in the latter format - we've seen Gordon in the UK one and by all accounts he prefers the non-celeb approach. BTW - many thanks Terrabella!
