I think Richard Burton's voice is a typical Welsh one, which has a lot of other, soundalike Welsh voices. Such as this voice of Gwyn's, for example.
But maybe not nowadays, since accents that old and new generations(like U-RP and Estuary English in England, and Mid-Atlantic and General American in the USA) have are different.
Wow! I have been looking for footage of the old Scenic Railway at Barry Island for many years, and have found this today. Excellent vintage video - thank you so much for posting.
