I lived for All-Star Wrestling when I was a kid, Sunday mornings on WHO TV-13 in Des Moines, followed by Lets Go Bowling! Bulldog Bob Brown was one of my first favorite wrestlers. Bulldog, Harley Race, Rufus R Jones....those were the days. Thanks for sharing!
@08181971 Heck yeah, I grew up in Kansas City, was lucky enough to go to memorial hall several times. On Thursday nights they'd put the show on, and show it on Sunday morning.
@lockenjr At the time of this match (around 1984), Bulldog Brown was booked in Kansas City as sort of a "Stone Cold" prototype...a face who didn't mind using heel tactics. He was one of the leading workers in that area, not a jobber. Bulldog was rarely a jobber by that point as he always seemed to be the booker in whatever territory he was in!
I can't believe Scott lost this match!!!! How come?

Brown was booker for Pat O'Connor & Verne Gagne in St Louis the last time I worked there. Hell of a nice guy.

What I'd like to see is when he and Marty Jannetty were tag team champs in the Central States. Those were some exciting matches.
