Hmm, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. "100% Latex silica" sounds impressive but is just gibberish. Latex and Silicone (silica is sand, dude) are completely different caulks. I think I can make out that he's using "Alex", which is generic paintable latex caulking used for windows and trim - definitely not what you want on a sink! Might as well use peanut butter.
the caulk goes on before you put the sink in, it will bond and make a seal when the sink clips are tightened. The sink should look clean when set in the counter top not butchered with caulk. these videos are pointless, and the " experts " are dumb.
This is a joke!! Right?? Ok so how does "expert" apply to this person?? I think expert Village should really screen their applicants before letting fools like this on.
oh, thats how you do it..cool, i'll go and attempt that now. I'm sure the wife will love me for my hard work, and she'll no doubt be so impressed i'll be on for a promise.
Thanks for this video expert village...could you direct me to where you do electrics please, as I want to know how to install a spur off a spur from a spur. My unique idea for in-wall heating will make me rich..ha ha ha.

A better title would be: "How NOT to caulk a kitchen sink". Misleading junk like this should be deleted.

I've watched a few videos with this guy in them -- he makes me feel uncomfortable, he seems wired or something.

In other words, don't worry about a thing. Just slap it on and make a big mess. Then open a beer, get drunk and laugh.
