That was probably the most fun I've EVER had at a Bears game, and I've been going with my family consistently for over a decade at this point. Took the RV from Chicago, found/bought tickets from a guy at Wendy's outside the city, and spent the night in a hotel parking lot. Big thanks to Devin and our Bears for helping make memories with my family and friends.

I remember watching this game with my girl-friend & my dad.; I was literally at the edge of my chair watching that play & when the flag came out, I was like "No, no, no, no... This can't be... No..." & when the officials said "The penalty is declined.; The end result is a touch-down!", we cheered.

What made me even happier about watching this game was the part when Corey Wooten took Brett Favre out of the game & back on the shelf.; I guess after a play like that, Brett didn't need to contemplate/consider retirement & then come back, again for the 4th, or, 5th time in a row, or, however many fucking times it was that he pulled this 'Retire, come back, think about it & then retire again' bull-shit.

1: Devin Hester broke the record in half the time it took the original record holder to do it.

2: Other big time Hall Of Famers like Gale Sayers and Deion Sander were also known fo doing this. I know that those two players also were amazing at another position but he revolutionized special teams and is st ill one of the most electrifying players in the NFL.

@ND7652 Brian Mitchell isn't in the hall of fame. He was the previous record holder. Josh Cribbs isn't going to the hall of fame if he reaches 20 returns. Devin Hester does not belong in the hall of fame right now, AT ALL. Not even close. First of all, he's only been in the league for 5 seasons. HOF players all were one of the best in the game, for their entire career. HOF players make an impact, for more than a few plays a game. Hester, will not reach the HOF, unless he DEMOLISHES the record.

He would have to absolutely demolish the record, and about double what he has done to get considered for the HOF. He's the greatest kick returner of all-time, so what? @richig761 I always like the condescending " how little you know" comments . But the HOF selection committee is made of 44 positions sportswriters MOST WHO HAVE NEVER PLAYED . And to a certain extent this bias has resulted in some anomalies as a "true" Punter HAS NOT been inducted as well .

Now certainly a man of YOUR knowledge would have to agree that Ray Guy . Should be there .

I agree with the announcer.... I just watched another video that had all of his returns, and this one was definitely the easiest. The Vikings completely sucked on the coverage and the Bears didn't have to do much blocking at all. As a Bears fan, I'm happy for Devin to get the record, but I would have liked a thrilling return like some of the other ones.
