  • i love spock-gasm's anyone get them 2 times a day or is that just me

  • I don't get it

  • Spock: We could throw tribbles at him, sir.

Kirk: I thought Vulcans didn't have a sense of humor, Spock.

    Spock: They do not, Captian.

    THAT'S Spock being funny.

  • This was taken out of context. Spock was reading a transmission sent by a alien that had kidnapped Captain Kirk.

  • That wasn't funny at all.

  • Tally Hoe Fail!!!!

  • Strange accent the way Spock says "any at t'all".

  • Funny video.

  • fuck, master splinter's 'funnies' at the end of the ninja turtles movies look like bill hicks next to spock

  • It's been said, if you don't have a sense of humour, don't try to be funny.

But Spock suppresses his emotions. He can't be funny. Not deliberately.

  • @UglySean You obviously don't watch much Star Trek. He's infamous for his wit. He has a great sense of humour.

  • Tally Ho. XD

  • He says tallyho because the dude on the planet acts like a British Royal Gaywad. Like a real fancy pants. And they said shit like that.

  • xD Press 4 for epic hilarity.

  • 1, 2, 5 = Send this...you azz...hole

  • @dhyphenBils "Is this a joke sir?"

  • @dhyphenBils THAT'S... Hilarious! ...and difficult. Kind of like You Tube poop meets QWOP

  • 6 repeatedly as DeForest Kelly wonders what he's doing with his life.

  • Press 5 for hoes

  • Tally ho WTH ?

  • What do you mean 'attempt' it was hilarious !!!

  • Press 2 repeatedly to make Spock say "you a$ses"

  • @mongrott And if you press 5 repeatedly he has a Vulcan orgasm.

  • Press 5 repeatedly

  • @mongrott Santa Spock?

  • "I will be here all week. Tip the waitresses and bartenders of this establishment generously."

  • A lot of punchlines are not funny if you miss out the beginning part of the joke lol

  • Spock is always funny, even though he Isn't trying to be..

  • Very good editing, I couldn't tell at all! Well done.

  • There's a restaurant on the moon !

The food is good, but no atmosphere.

  • They are not the hell your whales.

  • did you see McCoy's WTF face? EPIC

  • Hey, this is very clean editing, I wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't already seen the episode. :D

  • spock is the coolest klingon the jams pickard ever had the pleasure of meeting :( i wish ghengis khan didnt kill him in star trek iii

  • @KungFuDolphin Uhhhh. I do hope you were merely trying to be funny.

    Spock is a Vulcan

    The name is James Kirk

Khan Noonien Singh killed Spock in

    Star Trek II

  • @StoneKnivesBearskins Next thing you're going to tell us is that Trelane wasn't a member of the Q continuum.

  • @davidls11 He probably wasn't.

  • @StoneKnivesBearskins Noo Spock committed suicide to save the crew from being caught in the Genesis Effect

  • @Padgeify Sooo, everybody who risks their life to save somebody else is committing suicide?

On 9/11, when the passengers on a plane crashed the plane into a field so that the terrorists couldn't fly it into the capital were all just trying to commit suicide?

When a fire-fighter enters a burning house to try to rescue a child, he is attempting suicide because he's entering a house which might cave in at any moment?

To say Spock committed suicide is, if you'll forgive the expression, illogical.

  • @StoneKnivesBearskins My god i was talking about Star Trek! Brining 9/11 into it is a bit extreme, Yeah suicide was a strong word. Killed himself to save the crew then. But Khan didnt kill him . Thats all im saying..jeez

  • @Padgeify Yeah, that was a bit extreme. Sorry.

Just the "Spock is suicidal" thing is just one of the things that Star Trek fans do that pushes my buttons.

Correct, Khan didn't kill Spock, but he caused Spock to need to sacrifice himself, that's all I was saying.

Sorry if I made you mad or something, I certainly didn't mean to do that.

    LLAP \\//

  • @StoneKnivesBearskins Yeah i came across like that in my message sorry about that. But hey, no harm in a healthy debate over an amazing T.V/ Film series. And besides you make a fair point I should of just minded my own business :S

  • He's far too logical to make a joke... But I give an A for effort.

  • you cut and pasted Spock-that was not the original sequence of what Spock said...

  • Awesome editting! XD

  • I laughed.

  • A Vulcan attempting to be funny is funnier than a human actually being funny

  • @UBeRPEEP precisely, Mr UBeRPEEP. It is only logical to assume Tally Ho

  • @UBeRPEEP Wat

  • I love listening to Spock say

"Tallyho" He just says it so funny.

  • LOL!

    "tally ho"

*faintly unamused looks come from the crew*

"was that some kind of a joke sir?"

    LOLOL! That was just... LOL!

  • Why does Spock speak better English than most of the humans on the ship?

  • @igykalen Because he's Spock! :-P

  • @igykalen Because Mr. Spock is a Vulcan, which are a breed of Humanoid that have solved the problem of anger and war by being completely void of feelings. And he's big on logic.

  • @igykalen because its logical to speak clear and concise English

  • @albion432 "Bingo DVD Ripper"???

  • Fascinating.

  • Is that some kind of a joke sir?

  • That was so lame it was funny!

  • He didn't attempt to be funny. he succeeded.

  • lol

  • Tallyho!

  • His adorable logicalness makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I think it's called a Spock-gasm!

  • what a funny episode!.. love how Spock says Tally Ho teehee

  • ALL OF YOU ARE STAR TREK NEWBIES! If you ever watched this episode, you would know that he is just reading that off the wall!

  • Spock needs to watch some major TV...and read some books, "How to Crack a Good Joke"

  • Can you imagine being on the receiving end of that transmission?

    -We're getting it!

    -What's it say?

    -Quote: "Tally ho." unquote.

    (silence)

    -What, that's it!?

  • tally ho..

    *silence*

  • hip, hip, hoorah.

And I believe its pronounced, tally-ho.

  • @MrSpockify

Expecting Spock to insert/append a cheery "pip-pip" would be entirely Terranglocentric.

  • he does it so sarcastically... classic :)

  • I'm ashamed to say that Spock is more funny than me! D:

I snorted at his joke, thats more than I can say for mine, even I don't think there funny...

    Spock FTW.

  • He wasn't trying to be funny. He was giving a situationally appropriate response to the unusual greeting by Trelane, who awaited them on Gothos. This was taken out of context.

  • @X4PP3D Uh, I think you're missing that this video was a joke. It's not only taken out of context, it's re-edited.

  • @X4PP3D

That is a very logical response. Spock would approve.

  • @X4PP3D i wonder how many hate comments you got for this, unless you're being sarcastic and i missed the boat and will soon receive hate comments...

  • @X4PP3D A logical action of course.

  • @X4PP3D You sir, are a nerd.

  • @X4PP3D The fuck?

  • LMFAO.

  • It's from the 'Squire of Gothos' ... in which the main character, Trelane, seems to speak in mostly olde englishe, hence, the 'tally ho'

  • spocks got better jokes than that !

  • in this episode there was a recurring tallyho joke that was not started by spock

  • no it wasnt a joke retards, its the episode where there is this guy who is like "Q" from TNG , and he greeted them by "tally ho"

  • Tally ho.... lmao what a lame joke

  • That wasn't so good.

  • spock's EPIC attempt at a funny

  • Tally Ho. ( It thought it was a good attempt at being funny)

  • lol:

    "Is that a joke sir?"

"I'll entertain any theories...any at all."

    Even Spock wasn't sure...

  • Tally ho.

  • I thought it was funny...lol

  • spock rocks my socks off

  • It is only logical that we love you Spock!

  • @predetor911 yet it is illogical to show emotions such as 'love' but it is more logical that we... Appreciate Mr. Spock.

  • I thought it was funny....

  • That was so stupid I laughed!

  • Yet you watched it...

  • That's one of my favorite episodes!

  • I love this episode

  • "somekind of joke sir?"

    lol

  • Oh, the Klingon made a funny. I rather enjoyed that.

    (Family guy reference)

  • What episode was the Family Guy Star Trek reference from?

  • For TNG it's "Not all Dogs go To heaven" For tos it's several, and it's usually clips of shatner jumping around randomly and breaking things.

  • Spock is about as funny as a rutabaga!

  • Dear Mr. Spock,

    You are not funny.

Now I want to see Tuvok bust a rhyme.

  • Haha that was great.

  • tally ho

  • lol nice edditing. i would call it a success since is made me smile

  • This was the episode where Kirk was being 'hunted' by a being that ended up being a kid. Spock wasn't trying to be funny. But since Tally ho is something you cry during a fox hunt I would say it was appropriate.

Remember that the humor at the time of the original airing was far different than today's humor. XD

  • Ah, Spock!

I love his dry remarks, especially here. It's a good line, even if he wasn't trying to be funny.

  • Comment removed

  • I loled :D

  • Tally ho!

    What are they doing,hunting foxes?

  • That is akward

  • I lol'd

  • shut up joshuaH688

  • McCoy is just... "*flutters eyelashes* Ok then"

  • jejeje...well I laughed xD

  • fuckin roflcopter

  • AHAHA nice editing!

  • Now I know.. and knowing is half the battle.

    G.I. JOOOOOOE.

  • If you were any other man, I would kill you for saying that. Warf said this to Picard in ST: First Contact, and I share his sentiment. There is nothing stupid about Star Trek. Don't forget it.

  • it says that on the screen. this is from "the squire of gothos" and the trelene was communicating with them and spock was repeating the message, which said "hip hip hoorah! tallyho!"

  • XD This isn't a lame attempt hahaha just him being serious when saying that is hillarious bwahahaha

  • ROTFLOL

  • And McCoy's like "WTF Spock?"

  • Spocks favourite comedian at the time was Bob Sagget

  • Huh? He wasn't trying to be "funny". This is a scene involving a reference to- OH, NEVER MIND! These kind of videos are the downside of a system like Youtube. Perhaps, they should make a Youtube for adults?

  • but... star trek is funny.

  • This doesn't count at all!

He was reading all of that of the screen on the bridge.

    Another alien wrote that.

  • I agree, FluffballGato.

And, it was Trelain who sent the message.

  • I know...

Why be specific to these newbs though?

  • He has many absolutely hilarious moments. This is not one of them. I love his usual dry, slightly sarcastic humour.

  • Apparently Spock is a Prisoner fan.

  • lol

  • For some reason, this never gets old! I find it hilarious!

  • fail

  • Hey, I find Spock hilarious.

    Especially this one.

    TALLY HO!

    :D

  • dude that wasn't an attempt at a joke

they'd just recieved a message from the planet saying "Tally Ho", so he was repeating it to himself.

  • Thus the reason it's funny. It's supposed to be a joke. By removing the first section of the scene, a humurous atmosphere is thereby created.

  • it's funny because it wasn't funny?

  • precisly.

  • Lol, what a humorous explanation! :P

  • haha great job lol XD

  • Very funny video.

  • Spock has green blood due to being an ears that point and nerve shoulder pinch.

  • Actually, in the new star trek movie Mr Spock has black blood. In the movie at the very beginning, there is this scene when spock is a young boy. He gets in a heated debate with other vulcan boys because they made fun of spock's father. One of the vulcan boys punches him in the lip, at the end of the scene spock and his father are sitting down and talking and u can see spock's wound very clearly.

  • Actually Spock's blood is still green. It may be a darker green but it was green never the less. Dr. McCoy even calls Spock a green-blooded hobgoblin later in the movie so yeah Spock's blood is still definitely green.

  • xD No Star Trek would be complete without a McCoy green-blood comment.

  • Actually Spock's blood is green in that scene. It may be a dark green but it is definitely green. And later in the movie McCoy even calls Spock a green-blooded hobgoblin so Spock's blood is still definitely green.

  • Still looked green to me.

  • yup, definitely green.

  • It may be darker because of human blood being a dark color. And it may just be a bit of a mix.

  • In one of the episodes of the original series (either the Nazi episode or the gladiator episode...I forget which), Kirk and Spock get flogged when they are shirtless. Kirk's blood was red and Spock's blood was green.

  • the Nazi one, Patterns Of Force.

  • eh........... nobody's perfect.

  • Oh yeah?

  • I LOVED that blooper on Star Trek IV!!

  • TALLY HO!!!!

    XD!!!!!

  • I totally thought this was real until I saw the episode, Great job! lol

  • lmfao

  • LOL! XD If I hadn't seen this episode I wouldn't have been able to tell that you edited that... that was great. *favorites*

  • HA

I thought it was so real!

    It isn't?

    Great job!

  • Nice editing!

I thought it was real until I watched the episode!

  • It's not real?

  • Very funny.

  • Well uh... Dr.McCoy actually flinched in utter surprise from Spock's comment...

From my understanding of their relation, the good Dr has always been frustrated by our beloved Vulcan's emotionless nature.

It would probably be safe to say that Spock did attempted a joke and masked it afterwords quite well from his crewmen when they didn't quite catch it for what it was.

  • xD LOOOOL. It's so hard to tell if he's actually being funny or not. xD

  • Jokes do not work if the the person who you are telling it to gets it, or doesn't get it, therefore, logically, the person who is being told the joke, must half get it, and half not.

  • I would say "FAIL" if it wasn't Spock, because Spock is "WIN."

  • That's adorable XD

  • the message they originally got was something like 'tally ho' its not supposed to be a joke i dunno why u would edit it to make it look that way...

  • what episode isthis from?
