the iron is about an inch or so higher as well. thats what I gathered after a 5min look at the specs.

Jackho...yeah what is the bike all about. I have the same pipes and love em. I did have Screamin Eagle slip ons..which is a nice note and you may prefer that...for me the V&H sounds wicked....and nissansaregreat..thats not normal man get it sorted, you should still be under warranty.

i have a silver nightster and am looking at replacing the standard pipes with something that sound a little better, but it wont be these pipes, in my opinion they totally destroy the original concept of what this bike is about, only my opinion....

does yours ever pop? just wanna know if the guy dynoed mine right or not, i get pops when it revs down at higher rpms, he told me it does that cause the pipes are so short...

Fireface...don't listen to anyone that says you shouldn't have 'pops' or backfiring....it is very common with short pipes! It is old school rules....

Nissan, honestly no offence buddy, but state your 'knowledge' as an opinion beacause you definitely don't know much aout Harley's or hogs. Short pipes backfire is real old school (& desired....just ask a Hell's Angel).
