@NoofNoofLikesTrains Perhaps you may enjoy indycar this year. A new car with multiple engine suppliers has arrived and there is only 3-4 ovals this year (which I don't like, I want an even split) so that means it's pretty much all road courses if your into road racing. And if you want Australian drivers they got Will Power, Ryan Briscoe, Scott Dixon, and could be others pending free agency. The ALMS is seeing the return of alot of prototypes so it will be better to.

@dfraccaro1 Paddle shift setup requires a shit load of electronics and higher cost. So a manual sequential shift will make due (essentially the same, minus electronics).

Thats the orbit dp, but not kyle petty. Mike Riolo is driving, if you notice it even says it on his helmet. And this is not the track record, Darren Manning and Ryan Dalziel have both been 1:10's in this car on separate occasions.

Is there Auto blip on those cars? It doesn't sound like he touched the clutch once

Auto lift, but they generally left foot brake and blip the throttle without using the clutch so the downchange is quite quick.

what exactly is auto lift?

means that the ECU automatically cuts the throttle when you pull an upshift so you can stay flat on the loud pedal.

Yes, the DP has auto blip allowing the driver to not have to worry about lifting off the throttle while up shifting.

autoblip/lift is throttle, not clutch...most racecars have straight mesh gears so you can shift without clutch.
