Congrats on your 1000th video and yeah petrol is a bit dangerous in a washing machine i did not realize how flammable petrol really is until i had my birthday and filled a small bottle of it and threw it in a fire, i got a very big fireball from it lol

I first found your channel while I was looking for info about electrolytic rust stripping, I had a pipe vise that was left out one winter and was locked up solid. Well I didn't use the same equipment, like a DC arc welder, but I did learn a few things through trial and error, like current and surface area matters. Now I think i have figured out a setup and have the makings of a 35 amp DC power supply, a simple linear one that won't complain. Anyhow congratulations on posting 1001 videos.

No need to worry about qualifications Ed. I was a fully qualified motor technician in the UK (now disabled) and would have been happy to take you on as a mechanic/engineer, most things in our line of work/hobby, are to do with having common sense, rather than having a shit load of paper saying that you've listened in a classroom. Believe me.. I've had blokes with all the paperwork in the world work for me, only to find that in 'real life', they're useless!

I've always appreciated your support and input over the years!. I don;t see the point in copy-catting other channels, okay i get some ideas from what I see, but there is nothing wrong like that, especially if the original author is helping you!

Simply working in industry is the best way to learn things, and thats how I have always done it, no need for expensive schooling and papers to pin on the wall.

Its pretty basic but it gets the job done.
