  • I got to see this video

  • I hated this trailer !!! She tells you she lost 15 lbs in 30 days and that's it. No info about how this improved her health as opposed to Morgan Spurlock's health declining with 30 days of eating fast food. The trailer does not compel me to watch the film at all. Will I get real health information from this film? Perhaps, but you cannot tell that by this trailer. Bad trailer bad!

  • I want to go for this diet!!! I need an urgent detox, but I'm "underweight" and I don't want to lose any more pound, I want to gain weight instead and maybe a little muscles (?)

Some people say this type of diet is good for that, but I'm afraid it's the contrary… can someone help me with this?

  • I think 30 days of eating just raw, it is a wonderful way of detoxifying the body from all soorts of toxins.. you will get more energy, you will sleep less and better, and your organis will thank you, from less work. Take the chance!!

  • @theselector, my cats will purr for 30 minutes straight when fed raw meat. they feel so much more satisfied having gotten more of their nutrition. They don't have to eat and eat and eat like people do with processed junk food devoid in minerals/ vitamins/ enzymes/ nutrition for our cells in the body

  • how do you differentiate between the benefits you received from spending time at the detox centre & the benefits gained from changing your diet? wouldn't you get more accurate findings if you went about your normal life?

  • I'm inspired by this video, and might want to try it this summer. It says in the video that you lost 15 pounds from the raw diet. Did you change anything else for the 30 days? like exercising more?

  • ok but she didn't lose weight JUST by eating a raw diet for 30 days, she was also at this healthy detox place, (most likely a place most normal people could never afford) surrounded by extreme health-conscious people, and exercising more....

  • in 0:24 david said that he would eat alot of nuts GAY

  • You went raw food to lose weight?

Thumbs down, there was nothing worse about that body before. I hate people obsessing over this kind of thing.

  • Are chocolates , coffee , raw milk & olives allowed in this diet?

  • @theselector Hi! :) This is not a "diet," it is a lifestyle. Once you begin the journey into understanding food things like the selections you mention change in your eyes. In transition you may certainly keep eating those items, but they will not have the attraction as your taste changes. I can not tell where you will transition to and every facet is your lifestyle, not some cookie cutter "Raw Vegan" lifestyle. :)

  • @dr88ought Soooo....r u saying the 30 Days was not "genuine"? In other words your intentions were to always go Raw anyways regardless of the 30 days? It certainly sounds like you've continued past the 30 day initial experiment. There's some misleading info on your video or maybe not the whole truth. Anyone who restricts their food intake to just "one type/group" of food will lose weight. Even those who only eat meat for a mth will lose weight......(con't)

  • @dr88ought ......just as long as their calorie consumption is not greater than their usage. Also what you say about animals not being fat on a raw diet is a ridiculous example to use b'coz most animals live in nature in a natural environment whereas we don't. Our society & living conditions are mostly artificial or denatured & we have to live with that. Comparing animals to humans to endorse raw food is misleading.....there's just too many differences.

  • @theselector since you didn't like comparing animals to humans in video... then compare pets fed raw diet vs. cooked canned/bagged dry food = processed lacking enzymes. Pets given the opportunity will over-eat & gain weight becuz the cooked processed food is devoid of nutrients/ enzymes. Look up Pottenger study with cats

  • @theselector Chocolates, coffee, tea, milk is not healthy and should not be used if you want to obtain health. Olives not sure about them, I think yeah.. although they are very high in fat. =)

  • This girl is so cute. Im a vegetarian and it made

  • I am on a raw diet for over 2.5 weeks now and I got way too skinny (i was pretty skinny before, but now skin and bones, literally). My mom thinks I'm going to die. haha

  • @Whinestee

Don't torture your mom! How about eating more high calorie raw foods, like avocado & coconut? You could make smoothies with bananas, greens and fruit. Make sure you're getting enough calories.

  • @DeLucaMusic Yeah... she cried her eyes off thinking I'll die. Though we did get 2 avocados, I ate one and didn't like it at all so I gave the other one to my father. I've also got 4 coconuts left in a refrigerator. Do I just eat the white meat of a coconut, or is coconut milk better for me?

I've heard about smoothies like the one you've mentioned before but never actually got to make one. Are they easy to do? I'm a guy and almost 21, so it is quite a challenge for me when it comes to cooking.

  • Eat this Anointingwatersdotcom !!!

  • My mother refuses to let me go raw at this point because of the misconception that it's unhealthy, but the day I turn eighteen, I'm going raw and have been planning to do so for around two years now. It's so much more natural and healthier for the body that I can't wait at all. Every month I get more and more excited to change my life for the better. I've heard so many great things about the diet and a clean conscious is a great bonus too since I'll be a raw food vegan.

  • I sometimes go close to raw, including eliminating sugar, dairy, processed corn & wheat from my diet. I have tons more energy and need less sleep. During allergy season, my sinuses totally clear up when allergy shots & netti pots don't work. I would never run a marathon on a conventional diet that other runners consider healthy. I can add literally miles to my running distances. It makes sense that the body will have more resources to handle disease.

  • WTF... the people had serious medical conditions. This requires medical care not pseudo-scientific B.S.

  • LOL 0:57 HAHAHA lmso

  • im trying to go raw for the rest of my life!!

  • i did the raw diet for 4 months i started out with a raw food group , but i loved it so much i continued and it was great... i am going to do it again. this time for about a year.

  • you watch me... would you consider eggs a raw food

  • she got a nice ass

  • Challenge accepted!

  • @pfmelody Did u do it? How was it!!!

  • /watch?v=zG_tn3KAXNE

This is from a great film about a doctor who found out some painful truths in the bodies of meat eaters... and the right way to go raw. as well as studies from around the world about diseases connected with their countries eating habits.

Please watch and share. It cured my friends type two diabetics.

  • I didnt think it was possible but even I am getting tired of trying to help or inform people. The stupidity of the questions and responses to answers is really wearing me out. There are two many people jumping on the band wagon without knowing what the hell they are doing. If you choose raw... make sure you know exactly what your body needs to the gram and where to get it from. Its not all salads and fruit.

    AAAAAAARrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

  • On raw food even if your diet is 100% correct in what you need for your body you will loose weight until the animal fat is out of your body. Thats right its not even your fat half the time. Animal fat turns to glue at body temperature clogs the arteries and causes high blood pressure and much more. Moderation would be good if the meat was not so drugged up and the fish were not full of mercury, but thats not the case. The future will be genetically modified if we leave it to monsato, fda. peace

  • @loveofmusicltd So natural fat from meats instantly coagulates inside your veins? Do you have any idea how stupid that sounds?

Don't answer, the question was rhetorical; no, you don't.

  • @mrdaym no its not rhetorical at all.... animal fats... not natural fats turn to a nice glue substance at body temp. You must have seen the fat in the pan after cooking meat surely. How do you think you get high blood pressure. I will let you do your homework before i provide the links from doctors or show you actual footage of fat being pulled out of peoples arteries. Dont be so naive. surely you can google search. show me the research that says it does not..... I will be waiting patiently.

  • @crimberland "I'm right, you're wrong, but I won't cite any papers!" What is this, kindergarden? It's not my job to back up YOUR claims, stop being lazy. I will be waiting patiently.

  • @mrdaym

    /watch?v=zG_tn3KAXNE

  • @mrdaym what crimberland said is correct...check his link and vids.

  • @mrdaym lol at coagulates... who said that anyway. How about hardens at body temperature. And it doesn't sound half as stupid as you. If your not a farmer protecting your lively hood, your just a misinformed twat. get a frikkin clue.

  • @crimberland You sure went fast from argument to personal insults dragging the whole debate down with you, I'm out, and you should learn how to behave.

  • @mrdaym thanks i will... you should just learn. I have facts to back up my argument..you have hot air and nothing else. Thats what these things are about... if you cant debate or validate your point, just dont bother replying to anyone. especially when you know nothing on the topic. In fact... anyone who can help mrdaym out with his point please do. He needs it bad. Watch the video at the top.. the whole series. May open your eyes.

  • I tried raw for 13 weeks. I found a couple of things. I lost weight (good, except I had 8% body fat when started), lost muscle mass, lost physical ability, and I couldn;t think clearly. I tried this with vitamins and supplements so it was raw. Since returning to meat, I have added 6 lbs but maintained my body fat, became more awake, and shed almost a second off my 40 run. I will stick with meat.

  • @kangaldogs0331 what protein were you getting on your raw diet? there are plenty of good non-meat sources out there. but you don't have to follow some dogma, just have to find what works best for you, if that means eating some meat then so be it. raw fruits/vegetables/nuts/seeds should be the bulk of your diet though.

  • YES I COULD!!! I've done it for 21 days in a row. It was hard, but really worth it! I felt so good and lost a bunch of weight! I'm wanting to start again soon. Thanks for reminding and inspiring me to go raw!

That's cool you got to meet David Wolfe! I read his book "The Sunfood Diet." I would highly recommend it. Another great book is "Rawsome."

  • What kind of effect does this diet have on your thinking ability? Because I am a student atm, and I was thinking about taking part in this diet but I need to be able to think very well and I imagine with a lack of sugar that can prove difficult for the brain to think well.

  • GREAT for your brain. Refined sugar impairs mental function & makes you crash. Fresh, organic raw food makes you smarter, sexier, healthier, happier and more spiritually connected : )

  • @SuperchargeMe The human body needs the right alkaline- acidic balance. When you get this right, then you feel excellent, for that is the optimal state of health the human body should be in. Most processed foods and other junk foods are acidic, which causes the body to be 'out of balance' and thus illness can form. There is nothing magical or mystical about the health benefits of being raw, because most raw (vegan) foods are alkaline forming. Great vid ! :-)

  • @SuperchargeMe Agreed! I feel so energetic and clear-headed. It's truly amazing. I have stopped craving certain cooked foods because of how I feel after eating. Victoria Boutenko of the Raw Family has done some great research on the negative effects of cooking food. Then there's the Gerson Therapy which has actually cured cancer by prescribing a Raw, Organic Diet including Juicing. It's pretty incredible stuff. Amazing that Dr. Gerson made this discovery in 1920 and so few people know about it.

  • @SuperchargeMe Going to have to agree here, you will feel amazing and your brain will be clearer then ever, you will also need less sleep since your body is processing less, so you have more time to study :)

  • @handelsme - Clarity of mind and spirit is one of the benefits I appreciate the most about living raw. Enjoy!

  • @handelsme Also, there is a lot of sugar (glucose, etc.) in natural form in a raw food diet (all those fruits (apples, berries, etc.) and some vegetables like carrots, etc.). So, I don't think there is a shortage of sugar in a raw food diet.

  • @handelsme all fruit has plenty of sugar !!!!! you'll have a LOT more memory and thinking abilities !!

  • @handelsme I would suggest that you wouldn't my diet is that i eat almost every food source but in little quantity, and also do some exercise, it's the perfect and maybe the only way to lose weight healthily. You need sugar, but of course not a hole jar of it, one to two spoons a day is good...

  • @handelsme haha good one :P, sugar is the cause of your not being able to think that well, search that out

  • @handelsme Like superchargeme said, your brain runs on glucose so carbo up and live a life of great activity! Check out also Doug Graham 80/10/10. =)

  • @handelsme youll get the best sugars from fruit and theres enough in veggies even

  • YES!!!

  • I think a little pill each day consisting of a bit harmless filler material and b12 won't make you diekt unraw, in the sense that the body will even notice this little amount of "dirt".

Well, it certainly will notice the b12.

I don't care about being "true", this is (for me) not a religion.

Next to the advantage of having B12, animal products have lots of disadvantages.

So one can still say that raw plant based + b12 pills is the most advantageous diet.

That's the way I see it.

  • Ive been raw for more than 30 days:OOO

    Im Loving it!!!

  • better yet dont just go raw, go on a juice fast for 30 days..you will love how you feel and the results

  • i did and not only for 30 day

  • i could... but will i really?

  • I'm doing this shit,starting today :]

  • 'erbicides

  • i could go raw, because i LOVE sushi!!!

  • Sushi sin't raw..? Rice, lemon powder, most places use grilled seaweed wrap and of course the non raw duck meat in some of them and theres more ;)

  • really?... -_-

  • Sorry if you already knew or you really are asking, but I will give a sencible answer anyway :) Yeah it's almost 100% NOT raw :) the main thing is the Rice wich is cooked, and the lemon powder in the rice and the seaweed paper is usually fried and then the mmeat inside is often heat treated as well as some of the greens and definitly ALL the dressings such as Soya sauce, is pasturised (heated at high temp) :)

  • Yep. However, you can opt fresh cut sashimi. You'd just have to consume it with other raw ingredients if you can't stomach it. Also, soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger are out.

  • I would

  • I think that woman in the dancers outfit had an awesome body...I think she looked better then!? She a great figure...definitely not fat...but beautiful feminine-curves.

  • i disagree, she looks better after.

  • You've convinced me, I'm going to eat a vegetarian person raw.

  • @BonScottAC Yes, raw organic vegetarian human meat, is the more healthy for us.

  • i will try for 30 days, it sounds good

  • I do feel very young (I'm 54) and I look young for my age (although I've lost a fair amount of my hair - thanks Dad!). I just think eating lots of raw is the best way. Anyway, see what happens!

  • i think i could do that (:

  • Comment removed

  • I will definitely try to go raw again and succeed this time.

I tried it last year and only lasted a few weeks and went back to being just vegan.

  • It's best to go at least 75% raw. And seems reasonable that way too :).

  • INSPIRING...im gonna try it, ten days at a time

  • i have to agree that climate plays a big part on all of this and also how much range the local fruit and veg store regularly sells , for this part of the woods , fruit and veg range is somewhat small , i have noticed a few small changes , but very small indeed , i can tatally see that including as much variety of raw fruit , nuts , seeds and vegetables is very health rewarding , but in the uk , so is a cooked meal

  • The comment about the animals eating the vegys and are healthy... well think of it this way... Giraffes have more then one stomach to turn it correctly to get the nutrients. Lions would die on that diet. Different animals need different foods for their makeup. So I guess we could go raw but I would be eating Sushi up the wazoo

  • ha. haha i love sushi, but i could never eat it every day for 30 days. raw vegetables are gross

  • Intrinsic factor, pepsin and b vitamins. Read up on them. Raw for 30 days? Sure, in Spring or Summer thats a great thing to do. Raw for more than 6 years and your body starts to go Donner party and leach its own internal organs.

  • Wow! If that's the case, it's amazing our ancestors ever lived past the age of six, barring externally - caused injury.

  • I've been on an ovewhelmingly raw diet for 52 and a half years! I just preferred it from early childhood.

Raw is how we've eaten for hundreds of millenia. End of story. You can either eat naturally or suffer the consequences.

  • really? how do you feel with your raw lifestyle have you really turned back the clock like they say?? today was my first day raw :P (wow i know, one day wow)

  • @alan111best Well, we have eaten raw up to the point we discovered fire.

  • @alan111best Could the reason why so many kids when they are very young are "problem" eaters? I remember when my son was small he ate hardly anything, apart from fruit juices and potato crisps (chips) he was extremely fussy...but looking back maybe he just wanted raw food ! Lots of other kids also I noticed had this very fussy eating thing going on. 17 years later he loves raw fruits and veges and will consume (if he was able) at least 5 raw lemons a day, he even use to eat the skin!

  • @alan111best Fantastic news Alan, I agree with you 100% !

  • @wakeywakey2910

Thanks for that. Yes, we still have tail-bones, we look like reptiles when we're foetuses, and we can swim at birth: Evolution takes its time. So raw food is still something that we're designed for, and possibly some food fads in children are to do with the raw food/cooked food issue. Glad to hear that your son is doing well now!

  • @alan111best lmfao, what consequences?

  • @DarenHD

Good health, great fitness, happy state of mind. Those are the consequences for me.

But have you got some information that suggests otherwise for other people?

  • @DarenHD

Oh, sorry, see what you mean.

The consequences of not eating well are heart problems, cancers, Alzheimers, etc. But you know that, don't you? The benefit specifically from eating raw is that you get more of the enzymes in the food. You may know that if you boil a cabbage then the best thing to do is to throw away the cabbage and drink the water, as it contains more nutrients than the vegetable.

  • @alan111best and oh yea its not like theres bacteria in raw food or anything

i bet you wish you could eat cooked food but you were forced to eat it as a child by your parents and now you cant change coz your stomach isn't used to eating cooked food and you'll just get sick, shame

  • @DarenHD

Please do some research. Diabetes kills one person every ten seconds in the world. Unless you have some facts to back up your assertions then please withdraw them. This is too important for you to make such (seemingly unsubstantiated) claims.

I can only say to people that after 53 years of a predominantly raw food diet I am fit and healthy. I look young, I'm thought to be at least ten years younger than I am, and I've never seen my doctor who I've been registered with for 11 years.

  • @alan111best wtf, do you actually think that people get diabetes from eating cooked food alone? it's because they're eating unhealthy, and too much, you must be excersicing and not eating too much

  • @DarenHD

That's right - I don't think people get diabetes simply because they eat cooked foods. But if changing to a healthy raw diet helps their condition then this is a good thing, yeah?

There are many causes to diabetes - you certainly haven't listed them all. But you want your friends and family (and everyone else) not to die in ways that can be pretty grim, so please write something better informed than some spurious claim about bacteria in raw foods! Try eating an apple - they're safe!

  • @alan111best yea i eat apples..

  • @DarenHD Don't forget that we are part of nature. Humans are the only animals that cook their food.

  • You are right. I´m amused of many of the unrefined comments below.("We are carnivores..."=Bullshit! They have not tried it. I eat raw for months and it works.More Power, physical and mental potency are the results. Go on making good contribution ! Greetings from germany !

  • Dude, you're twisted. Are you saying you're attracted to me ?

  • seriously why would i even lower my self to you..? you sound like a prom queen not knowing where to spend her Grad night at... listen if ur going to compare fruit, veggetables and plants to fucking dirt please go out the window or shoot urself seriously... we are talking about live food.. with real Antioxidants & Live Enzymes with real true natural/organic nutrition..not man made shit then blaming shit on Evolution.. second get ur FACTS straight.. MEAT MAKES THE BODY ACIDIC. aka Diseased

  • ooked meat might (no actual facts) however, uncooked meat is actually very good for you and also...get this, raw.

  • First, I never was defending gmo or ANY other proccessed food... I just think its not WRONG to eat meat. second, your choises are incomplete and irrelavant.

  • i was a vegan for 2 years, except i didnt take any supplemeants, so if your gonna do this for a long amount of time be sure to take those vitamins(:

(being a vegetarian is amazing! if you went vegetarian for one day of the week, by the end of the month you might have saved 50cows! only one day out of every week!)

  • OMG OMG OMG!! NO MEAT???WTFF! NOO.. hahahha what most zombies would say is.. you NEED PROTEIN.. so let me ask the Zombies.. what do cows eat? or the biggest mammals to walk the earth AKA Elephants... what do they eat?! processed Legal Lethal Drugged up Artificial Fake Food?? or real live Whole Food RAW full of Enzymes your body needs?! haaa! keep the addiction going.. once u accept that 80% of the food you buy its SHIT FOOD.. ull set urself FREE!

  • well said! i love the reaction when a big meat-eater is asked that question. the strongest animals on earth are all vegetarians!

  • We're not 'strong' our evolution has taken a different path. We need a big brain , Not a big stomach and a fat reserve.

  • evolution.. are you on a Moronic State?? do you realize what humans are eating in todays world?! theres nothing more than Genetically Modified Food.. theres no such thing as Evolution having shit to do with this or what not.. this is completely off topic and idiotic to even mention.. 80% of the food in the USA is Chemicalized or has Genetically Modified Ingredients... THATS THE PROBLEM. the problem is the Corrupt Greedy Corps that want to play God with Nature & Killing us in the process of it.

  • No my iq has not dropped below 70.I don't care about the usa, We have food standards. ...evolution that's already happend..... I like meat, But i hate all this proccessed/ gmo ...Honestly , I'm scared of and off it.

  • I'm pretty sure the enzymes in an Elephants "stomach" might be a lil different to a Human's...something to do with evolution or something ... "food" aint "food" unless your body can use it.... NO human's can't get big and strong eating GRASS. Also , we DO NOT need to be big and strong, We have big brains...thanks to our hi protein diets. ( eating protein does not MAKE your brain bigger...Allows the evolution of one.

  • not true.. starting with u claim evolution..theres only Adaptation in evolution obviously not from being to being.. from to from animal to animal.. not possible never was proven. second... why does the FDA do Testing for Chemicals, Foods, Products and such..ON ANIMALS then...? Animal protein only makes the Body Acidic and kills the Alkine State that it should be in.. opening a Door for Disease and making the body a perfect place for VIRUSES, Bacteria, Funji, and such to survive.. so please READ.

  • Our hi protien diets, Facilitated the Adaptaion. ok ok ok , you maybe correct. BUT BUT BUT , breathing air also kills you...

  • another thing.. look at the infrastructure of our bodies.. we arent CARNIVORS.. and Deff NOT Omivores theres no such thing as that... that was made up by the big boys that run this nation that want to sell their MEATS and GMO foods... we dont have FANGS nor Small intestines... nor carnivore Enzymes to digest MEAT before it becomes Toxic... which takes about 3 hrs.. after the 3 hrs period meat becomes a Toxic and Dead BODY INSIDE OF YOURS! so... you tell me.. how is that healthy?

  • Dude, just find a small island and move there by yourself with all your followers. ( it won't need to be very big )

  • now whats does CO2 come from..? Trees, plants...its a natural process that will always occur so dont come now with Bullshit Global Warming Theories here.. im not Algore and hes band of imbecils.. we are actually on the brink of a ice age...so NO breathing doesnt kill u.. the chemicals in the air do.. btw where are you from..?

  • You're very stupid. you do not understand.

I wasn't making any point, just making fun of your crackhead logic...

  • O.K. you two. You're both very passionate. Take a deep breath. Peace.

  • dude protein.. brain bigger? WTF are you talking about imbecil..? let me kill your IQ with a Simple Question..

where do Apes, Elephants, Cows, Horses... Ect Get their Protein From..? let me make it Easier for you...

From: 1) Eating other Animals, GMO food, Ultra Nitrated Meat, or Animal By Products?

    or

    2) From Fruits, Veggetables, Grass, Wheat Grass, Gress, Plants..Ect?

Lets c if its really that hard for you to answer...please keep the PROTEIN B/S out.

  • Where do carnivors get THEIR protien ? ... If i could live off grass i would ... wouldn't you ? , last time i checked , we are classed as omivors ... AGAIN , Apes live in trees and have 'small' brains,,,,,,HEYYYYYY .... you're right, I'm going to switch to carbon dioxide, ( tree's thrive off it and they're natural ) I'm going to drink dirt ( worms live off it and have you ever seen an anemic worm ? NO !!! )

  • if the raw diet is so great, why are vegans/raw vegans who are on the diet for over a year look like a. they had a free face lift upon joining the diet (they look like they are freaked out and ) b. talk very slow like they have breathing problems c. they cant focus their eyes on one spot. d. take pills

  • I don't think IT Looked fat at all, in fact it looks pleasantly balanced! Don't worry about bing too thin. The after shot looked sweet too.

Yes, I could and would love to GO raw 30 days.

I however don't see anything wrong with some meat, some chicken, or any fish thats clean.

  • Meat makes ur body develop sickness.. bcus it creates Acids in the body.. now that we are Brainwashed into eating meat its a diff story

  • "" Eat a steak- you weak cunts""

  • Corn Syrup and High Fructose Corn Syrup. It's what KILLS Americans.

A VITA MIX BLENDER makes Raw Sooooo.. Easy.

  • Americans r FAT!!!

  • how do you clean off the pesticides? (if you can not be sure that there are organic).

  • mild basic water of ph 7.5~8 usually sucks it out of fruits and vegetables. there's special water filters for those kinda stuff. some region naturally run more basic water than usual .

  • hey jenna,

glad to find your channel.. im going to try to watch all your vids.. i had just done a search for your film on netflix last week and couldnt find it..Im on day 6 of 100% raw and could use a little support.. by the way, you look great!

  • yeah ,its a good movie we watched it in school and i learned so many things about it, Like we should not engage ourselves most of the time in eating fast food, rather than eat nutricious food cause this will help us a lot as a person.

  • I did for 2 years... complete change! xD

I would like to show some pictures but I need to ask my brother I dont have any here...I can say: "if you think, you can do it" thats it!

    greetings

  • What a great idea for a movie. I like my music the way I like my food-RAW!

  • I'd like to know what exercise she did during these 30 days, because she'd have to in order to lose wieght as well as eating raw, plus I'd be very interested to know whether she kept the weight off AFTER the 30 days.

  • Exercise only increases the demand for fat storage. Fighting hormones is a lost cause. Raw really does it believe it or not.

  • "Exercise only increases the demand for fat storage" I think that's a myth, I lost 10% of my bodyweight in fat and I haven't felt a physical demand to gain it back.

  • Oh come on now ... who fed you that line ? Do you really believe it ? I do agree with this raw food diet but get real. Exercise burns fat. If you are going to advocate this diet and tell people that it increases the demand for fat storage then you are taking people down the wrong path. Exercise will increase your lean body mass and decrease your body fat percentage. That is a proven fact !

  • Ofcourse you need excersice. But overexcercising isn't good. The point of the raw food diet is to repair your body to reach its full potential. Working out at the gym everyday makes you tired. I'm just saying, once you have achieved a balanced raw food diet, you shouldn't have to work hard to keep it off. Do you see any animals purposfully excersising in the wild? Once its off, the only excersice you need is enjoying life. Sitting on your ass all day is a really bad way to live, i know.

  • Yes I agree with your statement about overexercising. However in your initial statement you seem to be claiming that exercise isn't needed with this type of diet. Everyone differs with their level of fitness - some people do go to the gym everyday because they are at a higher level. Exercise is needed when someone starts to diet - no matter what type it may be.

  • Yeah, I am RAW FOR LIFE!

  • wow. she must have alot of will power. i wish i could do that but i dont think i could ONLY eat raw food for a month.

  • You have a very good idea!

I wish I can do it like you...

  • Honestly i think you looked pretty good before you lost the weight.
