I'm a convert to the Mormon church and I know there are many things written and said about Mormons that are twisted, distorted, and just plain false. I read all this stuff over 30 years ago when I was first investigating the church! We didn't have the Internet then and I had trouble finding information, and finally found all this anti-Mormon stuff (in Christian book stores, of all places!). I took the time to learth the truth, though. I wish others would as well.

The biggest change in the Book of Mormon was one name that was changed and this in 1832 due to an earlier, we believe, scribal error. Most of the work on the book related to printing errors and scribal errors, not doctrinal. Grammar was also improved.

For King Solomons temple instead of a small bronze bowl or laver used to ritually clense the priest he built this "sea" which was large and on top of what appear to be 12 life size oxen. However LDS baptismal fonts in the temples one of the ox has a bent horn to symbolize the lost tribe of Isarael (which was lost after King Solomon) so I dont think this was represented in the original sea for in the court yard of King Solomon's temple.

The biggest change in the Book of Mormon was one name that was changed and this in 1832 due to an earlier, we believe, scribal error. Most of the work on the book related to printing errors and scribal errors, not doctrinal. Grammar was also improved.
