Make sure that your video editing software saves the movie file in either .avi or mpeg. Most important make sure your video editing software also saves your video file either 1920x1080 or 1280 by 720

Tip: That software that came with the camera Ulead Corel its pretty basic, Sony Vegas will work pretty good with AVCHD files and can make a more proffesional looking videos.
