@simon1994100 It's a Status Graphite buzzard bass, I don't know how many were made. Warwick now owns the rights to the the buzzard bass, same style, but with a lesser quality.

@cfredrics Yes he does have a hipshot bass xtender, i dont think any artist would take the time in the middle of a solo to detune a guitar or bass during an extended solo, in fact go search his gear up on google, and click the first link and go down to the 1996-2002 section and it has all the details about this bass, the status buzzard, not the warwick one, and you'll find out all about it, the tuning peg is even a different color then the rest, you'll see it

@BioBassist I am not quite sure how hipshots work (I dont have them on any of my basses), but if my memory serves, they have a button next to the gear which drops it down to a D. In this video, John is clearly playing with the tuner while strumming the two low strings on his bass. You can even see the tuner twitch. Also, he is using his Status bass which does not have a hipshot.

I cant stop watching this, insane triplets, fast tapping riffs, his typewriter style of playing and the hipshot d-tuner, no one i know of has used one of those in the middle of a solo, they tend to go out of tune, but entwistle could pull it off, and the end with that little walking bass line, entwistle is truly an inspiration, and thank you AAShane for downloading the hi def version of this
