@silverbeast75 Not really. We've directly observed more of the surface of the moon than the oceans; but that just takes a good telescope and not submersibles or radar. However, the moon is not space. It is several quintillionths of space.
Absolutely love this vid. i've seen this some time ago and have it in my favorites but I still watch it; i sleep to it almost every night. (Can't sleep without music) I had to come back and thank you. You should do more like this.(^_^)
I think that this video is fantastic, it really makes you appreciate some of the stranger things out there and some of the more outrageous creatures in our own waters. Thank you for uploading!
i have and will always wounder that myself i mean yes space very intresting but nothing that rivals our deeps seas maybe because some of what we find down there is wat we expected to find in space
@garystorey Oh okay! I didn't pay attention and see that this was the only one you made like this. Also, I'm flattered (probably unnecessarily, lol) that you'll have another go at it upon reading my comment. I would definitely love to see some more vids like this. Blessed be*(^_^)
We should look for life on other planets because they might be as intelligent as us humans. Even though those fish are beautiful and fantastic they will never come close to what we might find on other planets/solar systems/galaxies.
I disagree.First of all our planet is aged many million years yet we are existing for nearly only a million....Evolution might be taking so many years to really change a lifeform but it does. And as far as other planet lifeforms, they might even be less intelligent than plants you never know....But since we are on this planet we might as well explore enjoy and cherish it.
We know for a fact (pretty much) that there are no animals that are more intelligent than us. We don't know at all if there are other species on other planets that might be intelligent as us. Even though we have amazing creatures on earth they will never get as intelligent as us - if we find another specie on another planet it might be. There's the difference.
i read this on a book that my dad had and it said.
" their can't be any other life other than the life on our planet because God only created what's here on Earth. If their was other life on other planets, their would be no God.
Who says God only created one planet capable of life ? and who says God even exists ? It's just one persons point of view based on religious belief and is bot narrow minded and biased and based on nothing but conjecture.
I believe that the "Gods" from all base religions were, or are advanced beings from other solar systems or dimensions which came down from the heavens to earth and handed man knowledge. Why else would all original religions and civilizations have so much in common when they were so far apart ? Check my favorited vids for more info on the subject.
You say that there were these "advanced beings" in other solar systems or dimensions and gave humans knowledge right? But how did these beings come to be? What knowledge did they give us and why?
It is a problem for religion isn't it? The most obvious answer is that God doesn't exist, life arose slowly by natural processes and that there are other planets in the universe where the conditions are sufficient for life to arise.
@gullestav no way man there are alot of creature on our planet that are as smart as us or slighty smarter but only bcoz they are uncapable of speach they cannot prove this .... you may argue that "well if they are so smart why do they not dominate the planet as much as u?" well they do... we dont live on around 85% of our planet and that other 85% is dominated by other animals that are as smart or smarter tthan us
Humans are the most intelligent animals. We can and do inhabit almost every environment on Earth because we've used our advance intellect to create tools and technology. Language, technology, science, music, abstract thought, these are all things that human beings have taken to levels further than any other species. You have no evidence that other species are more intelligent, you just WANT them to be.
@Sundaywave You're mistaken if you think we are a cancer to our Earth. Sure, the creatures on our planet are beautiful and unique, but the sad part is that we are the ONLY species as of yet that will be able to possibly survive the imminent destruction of our planet. The Sun is expanding and Earth will, in a relatively short time geologically, be burnt beyond the point of having liquid water. All of these species WILL die unless we have a hand in saving them. Most, sadly, will not be lucky.
@Sunitorp, you've mistaken of what i meant. Theres no way we wil be able to save the earth from any disaster that is capable of destroying earth. What i meant when i said we're cancer to the earth is that we are the reason animals are becoming extinct or are being classified as endangered, the reason forests are being cut down, the reason the ozone layer is being destroyed, the reason the earths temperature is rising, etc etc. We're a virus to this earth and there's nothing it can do to stop us
I agree and disagree for different reasons. Yes we should look for other planets capable of supporting life but only for the continuation of the human race. At the moment all our eggs are in one basket so to speak and if anything catastrohic happens to Earth then we are gone forever unless we colonize.
I disagree. There are creatures just as fantastic and rare on planet Earth. Why would anything be any more amazing just because it is not of this planet ?
I don't have an example, but the typical way of genetic engineering is that you find the snippet of DNA you want in an animal, then you break it off and put it into a virus as the DNA the cell accepts from the virus. This causes the animal that accepts the virus to inheret that DNA and the next generation from that individual has that DNA and thus makes a change. Viruses do this naturally, but without the selection that genetic engineering has.
I watched the deep sea episode. That's where I fell in love with this one creature. It looks so simple and kiddy and simply amazing that it's a REAL creature.
