the plastic lasted all summer and I rolled it up till next spring so I can use it again. It is in perfect condition so there wont be any problem. Since this was posted I put another better idea and I will have to post it next spring.
@jsbattlenet he didnt reply so I will from. 1st, his wood supports are going to rot in a year making his greenhouse fail RIGHT when things start to grow big. The shitty part is the wood is in the PVC, so when they start to rot from the moisture, he wont know till the thing collapses.
2nd. heavy snow = fail
3rd. Strong wind = fail
Cool video though! Not trying to be an ass. I love home projects, and I have failed at many! This seems to work for this guy wherever he lives though, so thumbs up!!!!!
@mikenewmanphone thanks for the reply. I did go ahead a build a smaller 4X5 foot about 6 feet high in the beginning of the spring maybe after seeing this. I used his ideas but instead I made a PVC square with PVC pipes at each corner popping up. buried the square then glued the legs of the PVC green house on all 4 corners into the buried square that had PVC on each of its corners popping out of the dirt. so far its holding up but the winter in NY will be the real test.
Good simple and cheap. I am starting one with pipe, but plan to use clear roofing panels for a rigid top.I am afraid I will come out and find the top collapsed onto my plants.
It is not totally done yet as I have to fix the roof cause rain comes down too hard, when it is finally done I will post the final video to this project.
Thanks for the vids, I will use your design as a starting point but add some support pipes in the middle and sides for winter time, also instead of wood use pvc for the roof. A little more cost but I imagine worth it. I will use rebar instead of wood as the anchors. I want to be able to move it around the garden.
The wood under the PVC pipe might rott in a year , but if your growing medicinal marijuana , the growth cycle is only 3 months so I'd be good

i would like to know how long that plastic lasted??

Use fishing line to go around each wall - to keep the plastic from streching to far during high winds..

Are you going to anchor it so the wind does blow it over? Looks like a fast way to put up a greenhouse, perfect.

Does it hold up to the wind well? Or does the top flop around in a storm?
