  • Stamford station is really fine.

  • I am well aware.

  • I Beleve the ""SWITCH" is the Door opening control. They were stopping in a Bridge Plate station and IF the engineer hit the door Opening switch--ALL car doors would open, with the possibility of people walking Out to NO Platform or Bridge plates on the named cars. When the engineer Turned OFF His SWITCH --the conductors could control Each car door opening Independantly to ensure ONLY the doors with Bridge plates Opened By separate Car controls

  • Oh, well that explains a lot. Thanks!

  • the time of the video is the same amount of views

  • wut up wit 0:16 where did the caternary go!!!!??

  • That's part of the bridge's design.

  • 6:16 - out with the beat up M1, in with the bar car M2 pair I guess?

  • Guess so.

  • Those are both M2s. The single M1 that was sitting there a long time ago was officially scrapped. Those M2s are 8814 and 8655(?)-barcar)

  • I really don't know. It was mentioned several times but I couldn't figure out what it was.

  • I made my videos under the bridge at 7:48 to 7:51 to the far left.

  • I Live in stamford so thats pretty cool that you would do this. BTW there was a derailment a couple years ago on the track next to you at 3:21

  • ive seen them before, but what are the bridgeplates??

  • Bridgeplates are for reaching the platform when there is track work.
