Swiss Beatz uses an MPC.. Just Blaze uses an MPC.. Timbaland uses something similar (pads and such) but he uses something else with keys.

Swiss alone takes up out half of the hip hop songs on the radio. Plus, half of the classic songs in hip hop made by Swiss, RZA, Wu Tang, Diamond D and all other great producers, all uses MPC's.

I don't use an MPC because I can't afford it, but it IS the most effective machine for creating music in the hip hop genre.
