It says "connected" forever because the repack is v2.4.1 but your WoW client is probably 2.4.3, so you need to downgrade your WoW client.

You need to have patch 2.4.2 or lower at least 2.4 otherwise you keep hanging at Connected if you have patch 2.4.3

If u make the server, yes u can be gm the command is .gmon then u can do a ton of commands

lol idiot. the max gold is 214k so if you loot a mob you lose all your money. and when you're leveling if you kill a mob you have to run all the way to the next leveling space (like going all the way to STV then killing a mob and then having to go to tanaris) so man that private server sucks

If you are having probelms with the logonserver,realmserver, or world try opening windows task manager (ctrl + alt + delete) clicking on the processes tab look for any files that say mysql-nt.exe and end it

TO ALL!!! REAAAD! the ascent server pack (7.8) which IS the newest is NOT fully compatible with 2.4.3, only 2.4.2, this is the reason ALL of you get stuck at connected.. if you connect 200 times or so, you might... i repeat... might. get in on your server.
