Nee doedelzakker de DPaD bestaat geen 55 jaar.

De Dutch Pipes and Drums uit Tilburg is opgericht in 1953 als jeugddoedelzakband ‘De Scotjes’.

In 1983 besloot de vereniging de naam te veranderen in Dutch Pipes and Drums.

Dutch Pipes and Drums, een heerlijke groep met fantastische uitstraling.

Het gaat tenslotte om de muziek en de power die het uitstraalt.

Dit is een puur militaire Pipes and Drums band.

If you consider bagpipes scottish, then the Dutch are as much entitled to them as the scots are. We share a huge amount of history and the Dutch and Scottish armies have been mixed for Centuries. The Gordon Highlanders being one regiment that served the United Provinces for hundreds of years.

@mofert The Great Highland Bagpipe is a Scottish instrument, bagpipes are not, they exist all over Europe, and the world. But as for the GHP, there's an estimated million of Dutch people with Scottish ancestry. Scottish heritage is strong, especially in Rotterdam and Veere. Both cultures were, and are close together, and I am an example of this coexistence, I am of both Scottish and Dutch ancestry, and I live in Scotland while holding a Dutch passport.

Scotland + Netherlands = Awesome.

Leuke tunes,alleen hebben jullie je naam niet goed uitgekozen. De Echte Dutch Pipes and Drum bestaan al 55 jaar. Jullie hoeven toch niet op hun succes mee te rijden. OF WEL.

Ja het lijkt er wel veel op ,maar wij zijn de Dutch Militairy Pipes and Drums

de naam maakt verder toch niet veel uit, de Dutch Pipes And Drums is de grootste pipe band van het europese vasteland, en van wat ik van jullie hoor zijn wij 100 nee 1000 keer beter, je meent toch niet dat je de gewone regimental tunes nog niet eens kan spelen, jullie verdienen die naam nog niet eens. als ik jullie was zou ik maar gaan oefenen, over 55 jaar zijn jullie ook zo goed.

dit hoort cker bij de nederlands lucht mobiele brigade waar om denkje dat we die rooie barret dragen om dat de oude engelse schotse in de 2 wereld oorlog de para troopers bij market garden ook rooie droegen uit eer betoon en respect lopen deze pipers dus soms mee bij binnenkomsten van luchtmobiel.

van mijn part mogen ze de dienstplicht direct weer invoeren

leren de jongeren van tegenwoordig eens wat discipline

PS: ik ben zelf 17, ga niet het leger in en ben dienstplichtig mocht deze weer ingevoerd worden

Zo denk ik er ook over, het gaat steeds slechter met de orde in Nederland, de dienstplicht zou dit vast veranderen.

ben het helemaal met je eens, ben zelf 18 en zit nu 5 maanden in dienst en heb er superveel geleerd en ben er zelf een stuk beter van geworden!
