maybe your both jackasses, different countries spell things different ways, a good example is colour and color. different forms of the same language in different countries. and BTW my computer is telling me that "colour" is wrong and color is right...haha stupid brits...
A typically insular American comment. The point I was making mopar43v3r was exactly that lexicon varies between countries, but you seemed to have missed that! Never mind...
@mwoodfield Actually Tire was used in England, Tyre only came into use when pneumatic tires were invented. And seeing as how the word tire is derrived from the word attire which was the metal or rubber band nailed onto the wheel back in the day. I would have to say that Tire should be the preferred option although tyre is perfectly fine if you are in a country that accepts it. The internet being multinational has to accept both.

i can do that with a 195 60 15 , goes on first bead no prob and second slips on.

ITS called a TIRE Jackass.............. Go back to school
Spoolingturbo6 3 years ago
Not if you're English. Jackass!
Tire = To lose energy
Tyre = A thick rubber ring
And instead of ITS it should be IT'S, maybe you should go back to school?

mwoodfield 3 years ago
no you were trying to make it seem like your version was right and ours was wrong
mopar43v3r 3 years ago
No I wasn't, please read the thread.
Spoolingturbo6 claimed it was spelt TIRE, I merely corrected him and highlighted the difference in international dialects.
And anyway, it's our bloody language....
mwoodfield 3 years ago
no, you corrected him telling him he's wrong, and i didn't know a language could be bloody? did you stab it?
mopar43v3r 3 years ago
I'm sure there is an awful lot you don't know, but I have too little time and I fear you'd be a slow student.
Bloody - used to express anger or to emphasize what you are saying in a slightly rude way
mwoodfield 3 years ago
bloody-to be covered or accompanied by blood...
mopar43v3r 3 years ago
Ah my fault. I again foolishly made the asumption that you have a grasp of language.
Bloody is a homonym; a word with more than one meaning.
Bloody (ANGER)
adjective [before noun], adverb MAINLY UK VERY INFORMAL
used to express anger or to emphasize what you are saying in a slightly rude way:
See Cambridge dictionary for reference
