  • recipe pleas =)

  • i just made some of this. I put copper acetate in it. It burns green. where did you get the fuse?

  • q????

  • Да, епта, бенгальские огни, пптс удивили пендосы...

    Менделеевы, епт.

  • Yup. Thermite will do that.

  • good

  • I just noticed that the "about this video" description says that it's aluminum and manganese oxide. Manganese is very similar to iron and also non-toxic.

  • manganese is toxic too. Iron L50 is about 7g and manganese L50 is about 10g. (a.k.a. how much it takes to kill)

  • Thermite is just a mixture of aluminum powder and iron oxide. The term "aluminothermie" suggests that this is just thermite, though it is could be using an oxidizer other than iron oxide to get the same result. Thermite and its combustion products (aluminum oxide and metallic iron) are competely non-toxic.

  • ur a retard, it called science. its necessary

  • and in what way poisonous?

  • looks like shiny gold at 32:00

  • looks like thermite

  • it is

  • durf.

  • i just found out from my college prof. that its a different compound u idiot.. its like thermite, but its not

  • your college professer is wrong. What is this supposed mysterious compound by the way?

  • my mistake.. i found out on my own, there are different compounds of thermite..

    (iron oxide)

    Fe3O4

    (chromium thermite)

    Cr2O3

also magnesium, and aluminium being relatively common

  • hahahhaa

  • its like an ark welder

  • they use this stuff to weld continuous rails for the railroads

  • this similar to the recipe for sparklers

  • mmm tasty

  • this can also be done u know the in chimeny the powder wrom wood ye so take it and mix it with suger and it will light up

  • oooooo fire

  • HAHAHA!!!

  • double HAHAHA!!! to that!

  • HAHAHA

  • cool but can

  • This is thermite. Just regular Iron oxide(Rust) and aluminum powder.

  • what?

  • we did that in chemistry class...except we mixed the powder into more of a putty...formed it on wires and let it dry. Made nice sparklers

  • Looked like a sparkler.

  • i thought u werent supposed 2 look directly in the light.?.?

  • who said anyone did?

  • They didn't. The camera and your computer screen aren't capable of picking up/emitting the UV rays that actually harmful to your eyes. For it to hurt you, you have to see it in person.

  • oh...I see

  • Nasty.

  • totally hot.
